Love this place and the people that work there! Stumbled upon it by accident with my two little girls. It was clearly not what we thought but we were convinced by staff to come inside and give it a try. My girls got ALL the attention. The cook asked them personally what they wanted, the bartender came by to "check on drinks," and the owner also circled back to talk to us. Oh they were delighted. The food was good, my 3YO was fascinated with the decor. I would totally come back separately as an adult, this definitely seems like my kind of dive pre-kids. The specialty cocktails looked amazing and they do karaoke. But, oh, as a mom these guys made my little girls feel like princesses and I just have to thank them all. Cheers.

This is a hole in wall tyoe bar. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The live karaoke runs 5 days a week starting from Tuesday till Saturday. Depending on the day, then start either at 9pm or 10pm and runs till about 1am or 2am. The server is pretty persistent with serving each table. Weekends are usually fun with the large crowd cheering the singers.

This was exactly what I was looking for!.. booth seating, dim lights.. no small children AKA quiet so we could relax and talk.
I would overall classify it as what most would say is a dive bar but imo dive bar's bathrooms are not clean..
these were! A character bar with lots of novelty decor.. my fav was the mirrored 'disco' ball by a stage area... bet this place gets fun on a karaoke night! Really nice server checked on us often and got us the chips and salsa that hit the spot! Refreshing ole timey bar that is so needed in the bright and flashy trends. Cheers!

A very classic bar. The food was surprisingly good. Lots of TVs with sports throughout. A slight smell of cigarettes. Prices were fine but wish a side came with it

Pros: One of North Atlanta's Oldest and Best Dive Bars. Karaoke 4 out of 7 nights with a packed house. Good menu, fast food service at a fair price.
Cons: The updated menus (23) pricing is no longer up to date and prices are not correct. Additionally, when you tell your server not to bring food until you're done with your salad, it's insulting to have the dinner plate dropped 1st followed by the salad 2 seconds after.
Overall: You get what you pay for here and you should not expect much, but should accept the "Dive Bar" status (as advertised). They're under staffed, but still bring value and entertainment at a fair price.

Haven't eaten at Chaplins in years. Tried it out since they have a new owner and I have to say the food was amazing and this place is moving in the right direction. My family had the Caesar Salad with chicken, Chicken fingers, Wings and Potato Skins. All of them were a 10!!

Great service and really tasty bar food. The buffalo eggrolls are on point! I loved hanging on the patio outback and watching the Braves game. They do karaoke most nights and I hear it's a riot!
