I recently dined at Chelo for a birthday lunch. All of the food was next level delicious, but I am going to dream of those feta rolls. The service was quick and the server was awesome. The atmosphere was very charming. Unlike most restaurants on Canton Street, they actually have parking, huge bonus.
Went for lunch here recently with friends and had a great time! The food was delicious and i took a bit home to enjoy later, so the serving was generous. The interior was interesting and pleasant. I enjoyed this more than my last experience at a Persian restaurant. Also just saw they are dog friendly on the patio at lunch?, so might go back just for that ?

We ate at Chelo with friends for the first time. It was outstanding-from start to finish!!! Even though we did not have reservations and the place was packed, we waited a little bit and they were able to find a place for us.
The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, excellent recommendations and accomadations. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented, bursting with amazing flavor and perfectly cooked. We ordered cocktails that were not on the menu but came out delightful and impressive.
I love Mediterranean cuisine - this place is one of the best in Atlanta, definitely at the top of our list. We can't wait to return!
Can someone please turn down the LED lights at the bar? Im a local so Im constantly trying to show friends my favorite spots in DTR. Im also a bar person, meaning i will always chose to sit at the bar instead of a table, and i have to say that after the original bar management and bar team left, it hasn't been the same, that goes for the cocktails, the speed and service. Lots of work to be done there. Anyway, I was there this past week with some friends and when Im telling you i needed to put on my sunglasses because the lights were SO aggressively bright.. so we decided to close tabs and go somewhere else because it was uncomfortable, and also note that because of that you can't even see the product on the bar. As usual the food is amazing. We all want Chelo to work out and stay, so hopefully this is taken as constructive criticism.
