Stopped in because I had a few minutes free and was hungry. This place was clean and offered a lot more than I originally thought. They sell alcohol in addition to food. The food was all super fresh. They seem to use fresh ingredients and appear to make their own tortillas.They gave me some chips and salsa to start with. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It exceeded my expectations.

1st time patron and wasn't wowed

The food is delicious but the customer service is absolutely horrible. I went in with my husband looking to order food for four people. After waiting for several minutes a guy came out took two orders and left me talking to myself. He didn't even let me finish making the order. He didn't even ask if it was dine-in or to go. A girl came out to give us chips & we said the food was to go & I also told her we didn't finish our order she just laughed and left. She then came out to give us the drinks for the two meals we were able to order & again I mentioned we didn't finish ordering. She just said ok & left. Then the guy came out I told him he didn't finish taking our order and he said oh ask the girl to take it. So when she came out I told her again we didn't finish making the order. She said okay and then left to go check out another customer and then went into the back again. When she came out again she had the food ready to go. We said hey we needed to make an order for four people not just two. At this point another table had been watching us tell them we didn't finish our order & was watching our interaction. At the counter dhe explained to my husband that it was just her & the cook. I understand being understaffed can be stressful but I don't understand how that equates walking away mid order & ignoring us each time we told them that they didn't take our complete order. It wasn't until we were paying for the 2 meals that they asked us if we wanted to add anything else. I honestly wanted to walk out after being ignored the first time but since the 2 meals that we had ordered weren't ours we stayed & waited. And we didn't order food for ourselves at the restaurant at the end as the wait time is understandably long & we didn't want the food that we already had to get cold.
Again the food is good but if we ever do go back I hope the place is empty or well staffed to get decent service.

Very good food in a very austere setting.

I got take out here this week just to try it since it seems so popular. It really is bare bones in terms of decor but the food I had was really good. I asked for carne asada but they didn’t have it so I ended up with Cecina Roja based on his recommendation. I didn’t know exactly what to expect and was a bit surprised. It was thin grilled steak that was extremely tasty. Everything I had was good here.

Decent selections and flavors, but much slower service than the other great Mexican options, like El Indio, that are nearby. Adding birria tacos would be a nice touch.

The most average burrito I have ever eaten. $12 after taxes and a 15% tip. Very low effort was put into the food here. Go elsewhere.

I ate lunch at the Roswell location today. The food is delicious, and the service is great.
