After many years of going to El Jinete Mexican Restaurant at Woodstock Rd and Sandy Plains, I must warn anyone going there to read your bill carefully. They charged us $22 each for an a la carte steak quesadilla that is listed on their menu as $10.25 The woman who said she is the manager refused to correct the bill even though there is NO steak quesadilla a la carte item for that price on their menu.
😡 today I was charged $7.60 for a small cheese dip. They will never see me again.

Be aware of the skinny margaritas being $16 they will not tell you they’re $16 and they put a double shot in there. I could not believe I had one glass for $16 unreal other than that great spot.

The food was good. The service was very good. The reason for only two stars is because of pricing. I have received similar food and service at other Mexican restaurants in the area at a much more reasonable cost.

We love going there - we split the ACP but have steak instead- we usually don’t wait to be seated - but we go around 5 pm
They have 3-4 places for large groups - we go as a family of 14!

My husband loves the frozen margs here. We love their chicken soup too! Our go to spot near home. Love this place and shout out to Pablo for excellent customer service.
