El Torero Mexican Restaurant

Would give less than 1 star if I could, I think they have just given up, the owner and one server are there, both grumpy, and they get annoyed if you ask questions, or ask for more salsa or chips, which had the taste of old oil. Chicken was like rubber. The whole experience was depressing, versus having a pleasant dinner outing. Not going again!

Look, at the end of the day, if you are reading this review, then you (like me) may be looking for some amazing inexpensive Mexican food. And well, you found it. This is a hidden gem in the area and you cannot beat the amazing service and the decent food…and oh my, the COLDEST beers this side of the Chattahoochee (pic for reference). If you want bougie Mexican food, go to those places that charge for chips and salsa or charge over $25 for fish tacos…but if you want amazing grub at an amazing price, this is the place. For reference, family of 3 with several beers, was under $54.

Stay away! Smells like dirty rags, which they probably used to clean the tables. We were starving so decided to stay, food was room temperature, chicken was undercooked, we complained to the server, Juan who said he was the owner, he said nobody had complained since he bought the place three years ago, and was in general very rude, he said that’s the way the food is, no warming up, no replacement, nothing. Honestly, Taco Bell is better than this place!

It was my first time ordering here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, freshness and promptness. I called the order in and it was ready in 5 minutes. I ordered the speedy Gonzales and it the portion size was huge. It also came with a side of chips and salsa which were also super fresh. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Came here with my boss and coworker for our lunch break. Very good food, staff are very nice and attentive, and it is clean and orderly. The prices for the lunch specials were excellent and definitely easily affordable for most people, and the food was of excellent quality and quantity. I personally liked the photography on the walls of the fish that were taken in Mexico, some of them were really cool! Will be back again. These guys know how to run a good restaurant.

Excellent food and everyone is so nice and welcoming. We got our food so fast and everything was delicious. Their cheese dip is my favorite! Really enjoy eating here and the overall ambience.
