Finally, a truly authentic Japanese restaurant in the heart of the East Cobb/Roswell area. In a sea of Americanized spots cosplaying as sushi bars, this one is the real deal. The fish is incredibly fresh and genuinely sushi-grade. If you think McDonald’s burgers are made of meat, this place isn’t for you.

Hidden Gem.
Cozy and stylish atmosphere.
Service was prompt and attentive.
I had the Chef’s Nigiri Tasting A w/ Miso Soup.
The chef also recommended the Out of Control Roll.
I was able to sit at the bar and watch the preparation.
The chef was also attentive providing guidance to his other chefs to complete the tasting plate.
He checked in as I was eating to ask how everything was and if I was local to the area.

Wow. My family and I have searched far and wide to find a quality, local sushi restaurant. Tonight, on a whim we stopped by Fukulala and have officially found our new favorite spot.

We tried the Bluefin Chutoro, salmon belly, mackerel nigiri (and some others) the “haru roll” and the “i’m so hot” roll. We were blown away. The portions are amazing, the quality of the fish is incredible, nothing tasted “fishy” but instead was very fresh. The miso...
