This my wife and I's first experience at Gaslight. The food was great the, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the live band added a fun touch to the evening.
We visited on a Saturday night, the place was fairly empty, I was initially happy to see a musician setting up, but ultimately the music was just too loud and really killed the meal. The guitar player was talented, but when you can't hear your husband who is sitting next to you, it's a bit much. We both wished the guy had played acoustic - it would have been perfect. Food is ok- we just did small plates- shrimp were nice and plump, smoked salmon on toast good, the lobster was good if you like heavy fried-great foccacia. I was excited to see eggplant but sadly it had no taste. The staff was great and I think the place is worth a try.
This place is great! Amazing atmosphere and great food. Its a bit pricier than I think it should be, but the atmosphere and amazing staff more than make up for it. I'll definitely be back and I recommend giving it a try!

Stopped in this past weekend hoping to grab some food and drinks, but what a terrible experience we had! We were seated with menus and that was it. Not one server approached our table after that. The ones walking around looked like they were not even happy to be there. A table behind us did get served and we were still sitting there.
I finally walked up to the bar to at least order a few drinks. The beer we received tasted like it was watered down and the cocktail was terrible. Definitely NOT worth the prices they are charging!
People that looked like they may own or manage the place came in with a dog that was wet and dirty since it had been raining. It was clearly not a service dog but came running in and jumped on the couch. I love dogs but not inside restaurants.
Luckily we decided to leave and walk up the block. My recommendation is stay away from The Gaslight and go to 1920 Tavern. The service, drinks and food there was awesome!
The food was delicious, I had the fried shrimp and a wedge salad. It was awesome! The place was very cute and cozy. We loved the band, we saw Band X there and had so much fun dancing. The cocktails were very good too!
Thank you Shayna and the team for taking such good care of us and help to make my husband’s 50th surprise party a great night.
The service, food and vibe was great from start to finish. We look forward to our next visit.

The specialty items were very good. The simple items were mid. Pricey but good food. Server was good. Place is dark and decor is confusing. Is it an upscale restaurant or a bar/lounge? Didn't quite know how to feel in there. Overall nice place I guess.

The place is decorated nicely (disco ball aside). But to be charging $60+ for steaks and $40 for pork chops you’d expect not to be blasted in the face with loud music. Also, service was mediocre at best. We had to ask for literally everything. My salad came out WITH my meal. The bread was for 4 but we had to beg for more than 2 prepackaged pays of butter. NO TEA AT ALL! As in zero, they don’t serve it. You get lukewarm water, wine, or beer. I had to ask for ice and it was served to me in a plastic solo cup. $15 for macaroni and cheese that was bland and barely enough to serve 2. Speaking of bland, the steaks and chop and no flavor. Not even salt. We really wanted to like this place but I feel I being generous with 2 stars.

Raw oysters were dried out and sticking to shell. Pork chop was excessively charred and had no seasoning or flavor. Mash potatoes were only good thing.
The was our first time at Gaslight. We had a good experience at the bar and then sat down for dinner. It was 6pm on a Saturday night and there was only one waitress. Not too many customers yet, but the service was fair. The bartender tried to help but the service was lacking. Hard to get drinks, etc. The food was very good. The band started close to 8pm but was way too loud for the small restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed most of our night, but would go later in the evening to see if service would improve.

Great service and atmosphere. A place where you can listen to a band play music and dance. and dine. Bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly to each guest. Menu is diverse, and when ordering food it came with in a reasonable time.

The best tomahawk steak I've ever had, and I've had them in over 40 countries. Don't understand why this place is not packed - old fashioned cocktail was spot on, food was incredible - will be returning for that steak again.
The food is amazing atmosphere everything almost perfect spot outside of no one coming to serve us after we’d sat down to eat. We

Really nice. Food was great! Service was great. We will definitely go back. We had oysters, lobster bites, red snapper, honey chicken, asparagus and Brussels. All good. Bread was good too.
Just ate here with some friends and had an incredible experience! Chef Warren is amazing. I had the salmon, and my friends ordered the burger, Caesar salad, Braveheart steak, and the macaroni. We all shared oysters to start—and everything was absolutely delicious. Great food, great vibes…. we will definitely be back! 🤪
