The best tomahawk steak I've ever had, and I've had them in over 40 countries. Don't understand why this place is not packed - old fashioned cocktail was spot on, food was incredible - will be returning for that steak again.
The food is amazing atmosphere everything almost perfect spot outside of no one coming to serve us after we’d sat down to eat. We
Really nice. Food was great! Service was great. We will definitely go back. We had oysters, lobster bites, red snapper, honey chicken, asparagus and Brussels. All good. Bread was good too.
Just ate here with some friends and had an incredible experience! Chef Warren is amazing. I had the salmon, and my friends ordered the burger, Caesar salad, Braveheart steak, and the macaroni. We all shared oysters to start—and everything was absolutely delicious. Great food, great vibes…. we will definitely be back! 🤪
Terrible food and very high prices. I just wrote a whole google review but to summarize we spent $1100 for 6 people and could have had a better meal at Outback Steakhouse…yes it was that bad. I gave my steak away if that tells you anything. Will never go again. One positive was that the waitress was very nice. We didn’t complain, so she had no idea how we felt. But for $1100 it better be great, and truly was one of the worst meals I’ve had.
We were very much looking forward to eating here based on other reviews, but it was a major disappointment. First, the prices are high, our bill was $1100 for 6 people. We each had an entree, I ordered 2 appetizers for the table, and we orders 5 desserts. $1100. I’m still not over that. I would have been ok with that if the food was phenomenal, but it wasn’t even average, I could have had a better steak at Outback (yes that’s how bad it was). I ordered the ribeye ($82) and it was so tough I had 3 bites and gave it to my husband. Truly terrible food, and just topped off by an $1100 bill made me even more mad. Will never go back. Server was very sweet though, that was the positive.
The emptiness of restaurant was a bit disconcerting. For a “high end” establishment, the lobster and crab bites were overtly salty, the red snapper was good as was the filet. However, it was overly priced for what was served/available on the menu.
I've been wanting to go here for a long time. I've heard different things, but who cares? Let's go for it.
It's really cool inside. I didn't even realize they had a piano bar kind of dueling, piano thing going on, that's part of the problem. They're not advertising, This would be a cool place to hang out and listen to music for late night fun.
We were there for the food, steak came out raw. I mean, cold center raw, we ordered it MR. The calamari appetizer was way overbreaded and way over salted. Basically, their food is horrible. I would never eat here again.
The owners or managers, or whoever are hanging right, outsid on the patio and front door smoking. Which I believe is illegal, but either way, I don't like smoke and much less cigarette smoke. So, hanging out in front of your establishment smoking is simply bad etiquette.
This place won't be here much longer.
Amazing. Sea bass was fantastic. Never had a piece of fish that was cooked so perfectly, tender and buttery.
Such good service, excellent food! The waitress was amazing.

I haven't gotten to get in as often as I like but I was back and had the scallops and it was delicious. I hope to see you soon also.
The food is not great and they have only a few options available. No Non-Alcoholic drinks available.
Had the perfect corner booth table for valentine's. Service was great. Music was nice. Best pork chop I've ever had and the brussel sprouts were so delicious we want the recipe! The new orleans oysters were a big disappointment. For the price you could barely see them in the shell. Not worth it. We will def go back though
Overall our party of four enjoyed the night (Saturday) but it was spoiled by two factors: the $85 medium rare steak (over $100 with tax and tip) was raw in the center, and, as super friendly as our waiter was, the restaurant was understaffed and the service slower than it should have been. If you have not been to this restaurant give it a try, the piano player was terrific and the ambiance is on a higher level than most, but don't expect Ruth Chris excellence with the meat dishes. I would go back, but maybe not on a Sat night and I'd try other dishes.
Last night was not my first visit to Gas Light however it has been at least 1 year. As usual I was not disappointed!!! On a night out, I usually start off my evenings at other establishments and my finale is Gas Light for dancing. I keep forgetting they have an amazing chef!!! Lucky for me, my friend and I were peckish so I had the chicken noodle soup and chicken wings. I was blown away as usual I was not disappointed. I need to add they DO NOT DO NOT water down their drinks, so when I ordered a gin and tonic I had to ask for more tonic!!!! The food is wonderful and I will ensure I go for a full dinner. The staff are attentive. The music is great, I danced so much, I definitely burned a lot of calories - they do have their own parking spots which was full so we asked the wine store next door if we could use their parking spot, they were very gracious and allowed us. On street parking $4 for 3 hours or $10 in parking lots. Gas Light is definitely a place to go for a night out it offers everything.
