Excellent “real” seafood gumbo, blackened redfish, shrimp stuffed crab, praline crusted salmon, etc. Everything we’ve tried is delicious!!!

The food is honestly incredible and packed with flavor. I always forget how good it is and get reminded quickly when we try something new. Service and management are super friendly and the craft cocktails are always great. Try the tequila old fashioned

Hugo's is not what it used to be! The new owners seem to be cutting corners to reduce costs and it shows. Cocktails were poorly made and watery; even one from their seasonal featured list didn't look or taste anything like the description. There was also something off about the raw oysters - the flavor was strong and some had large amounts of white “foot” that we've never seen before. We left before ordering main dishes so I don't know how they are, but at this point we'll just dine elsewhere.

Hadn't been in for quite a while. It's still great food and service. I do wish oysters weren't $4 each because I used to order a dozen before dinner! Excellent service from Lilliana.

Service was terrible and the food was warm at best. Half of our party was provided their meals a solid 10 minutes before the other half of the group. The table next to us ordered their meals red fish as did one of our family and while they had a great looking piece of fish, we received a portion 1/2 the size. Definitely not worth the money we paid for the meal!
Excellent service our server was the best. Very good food. Oysters ok size but they had them from the northeast which is great now since the gulf oysters have some issues. Haha

Once again, we had a fabulous meal at Hugo‘s. My friend ordered the beautiful and colorful, lobster salad, and I had the black and flounder serve Ponchartrain style. Fabulous, filling, and fit for a gourmet. Service by Marc, I believe what's his name, was on point, attentive, but not intrusive. Keylime pie was good and beignets were ginormous. Will be back! Thank you, Maddie, for your warm welcome.

This was a late choice to grab dinner with friends and it proved to be a solid option. The food was excellent, good price point and David took great care of us. We enjoyed the salmon and fillet. Highly recommend for a casual meal.
