Basic Italian American food. Mozzarella triangles were good, can’t go wrong with fried cheese. Got the veal Francese, a lot of capers and the chicken parm was really soft to chew. If you have dentures, you’re good to go. Got the strawberry shortcake for dessert since they were hyping it a lot and it was not even close to what a shortcake would be considered. So bad. I hope they never put it on the menu again. Strawberries were mush and there was no cake.
Going to Lucia’s was like stepping into Sicily in 1950. You can immediately feel the family environment when you walk in. It has the hospitality of a true mom and pop shop and the quality of the highest class. The owner is always walking around checking on people and their experience. It is no wonder they have so many regulars. Lucia’s has stolen me away from my long time favorite Ippolito’s. By far the best Italian in North Atlanta!
I wish all the other businesses and restaurants could take notes from Lucia’s. This place has the best food and service I’ve ever experienced. God bless these people! I wish they would franchise!
