I had an unexpectedly pleasant experience at Lucky’s Burgers and Brew. As someone who eats gluten-free, I typically avoid Lucky’s since they didn’t offer a gluten-free bun in the past. But on this occasion, I was happy to find they’ve updated their menu and now offer one!
While I couldn’t enjoy the fries due to a shared fryer (so they’re not gluten-free), the rest of the meal was solid, and I appreciated having more inclusive options. The highlight of the visit, though, was a chance encounter with the owner, “Lucky’s mom” who graciously introduced herself while I was at the bar. She was warm, engaging, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone was enjoying themselves.
The atmosphere outside feels like a relaxed backyard barbecue with the added fun of live music; a great setup for meeting friends or entertaining kids. Overall, a great spot for casual gatherings, good vibes, and a thoughtful touch of hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

Good place to sit outside, have a beer and relax. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. The food is okay but its bar food and that's to be expected. The night I was there the service was terrible. Waited 10 minutes outside at a picnic table around other empty picnic tables and no one came to take our order so we went inside to see if we could sit on the patio. Of the 4 people standing behind the bar, just chatting to themselves one of them finally said a hostess will seat us. That was another 5 minutes before she waddled in. Got seated in the empty patio and waited another 8 to 10 minutes for someone to take our order. If I wasn't hungry I would have just left. The night I was there may have just been an bad night of service. I'll give it a try again as its a nice place that serves food after 9 pm to sit outside and have a beer.

Painfully Average. The food was OK, but nothing memorable. It cured hunger, but that was all. The service was actually a little less than average, as the only thing that stands out was some gentleman I assume was the owner/manager walking up to our table asking if everything was ok before we even had a chance to taste anything, then trying to find our server to pay. The atmosphere: Again, average. I assume they were going for some funky vibe but missed. Taco Mac is a much better option. Also, look out for their “Admin Fee” they hide at the bottom of the receipt (and then charge tax on that!).

Great food, a bit busy the day we were there, but overall pretty good
i go to luckys regularly for casual lunches and dinners so i knew the food is fantastic. i decided to host my tennis teams end of season party here this year and even with a rowdy group of 20 (everyone drinking) the staff continued to impress me. jackson never missed a single beat and no one had to wait for anything they ordered. love this place!
