McAlister's Deli

I had lunch at Mc Callisters Deli in Roswell.
We arrived at 1130am.
I ordered the New Yorker Pastrami Sandwich with Potato Salad & a side of Tortilla Soup.
Service was 5/5 food arrived only 8 minutes after ordering.
First the Potato Salad, it wasnt totally bland, but it definitely could have used more seasoning than it had. Thanks to my wifey Tamara, I guess im just totally spoiled in that dept. HOWEVA 3.5/5
As for the two remaining orders, they were both excellent.
I absolutely loved the Tortilla Soup it had a great flavor with a "little" HEAT ADDED, which i thought was the perfect balance of (spiceyness) but not overwhelming! 5/5
The Pastrami Sandwich was "OVERLOADED" with meat (just like i like it) with great Toasted Sourdough Bread, mustard & mayo, & a juicy pickle.
Yes I DID, dip my Pastrami sandwich in the Tortilla Soup, bc Im "KOUNTRY LIKE THAT" OMG so good! 5/5

The staff here are very welcoming. I’d like to give a shout out to Nick. He is always very helpful and has a great attitude. The food is always fresh and the portions are good. The ambience is very relaxing and clean. It’s now on the weekly lunch rotation. 😋

We ordered online for a group lunch, many of them got salads but I got half a sandwich and half soup that was perfect portions. My sandwich was turkey spicy jalapeno with avocado and turkey, my soup was potato soup. Everyone enjoyed their salads and it was ready to order ahead and pick up.

T (the manager we met) and the entire team were excellent! So welcoming and helpful! The place was super clean, the food was very well plated and good portion sizes. Truly one of the best McAlister’s I’ve been to!

Service was so slow. It took 20+ minutes for my food to come out and my order was completely wrong. I was late coming back to work so I just took what I got but would not come back.

5 stars because of the food. 5 stars for Jeremy. He was very polite and attended to me while the other girl stood there looking clueless 😵‍💫 McAlister’s has the best food no matter where it is.. but the atmosphere in this one, the employees didn’t look happy to be there. I’m assuming it was the manager that got Popeyes door dashed , because when he came back inside he yelled at the employees that somebody needs to go up front.. Why would you do that in front of a customer? How about take my order and attend to the guest? No wonder they not happy to be there, they don’t have a leader to show them how it’s done.

This company now requests tips for no additional services than they used to do.
After waiting aprox 20 mins for a french dip, the employee spilled the dip into the plate while setting it down, soaking the bottom of the sandwich and the bag of chips, then walked off. I left as I didn't wish to wait another 20 mins.

No mayo or mustard on my sammy & the bread was burned. Almost no cheese on the ham & CHEESE melt. I took some of the cheese off the potato & put it on my sammy & fortunately had a packet of mustard in my car. Potato was fine. The lady who took my order was pretty clueless about the menu & the guy making the order seemed tired & annoyed. Maybe he had a bad day. Shrug. It'll be a while before I try this place again.
