We would have had an good experience but we waited an hour for our food after we sat down. Our server never refilled our water. However, the food was great. The grits were the only minus. They were lumpy and cold. The orange juice is delicious but not worth $7. Would try again but they need to work on service.

Great potential. Food is overpriced, server was sweet but inattentive. Took 20 mins to get coffee, 45 mins to get food (only 2 of us). Took an hour and half to order, eat and get check. Server never acknowledged the length of time it took. Hostess did apologize to a degree but not enough considering it cost $90 for brunch for 2. We had reservations and were watching people who were walk-ins after us, sit, eat and leave before we even received food. Overall disappointing but it is really cute inside!

I recommend this restaurant. Went there on a first date; it was full but I did not feel rushed to eat and leave. I had the gooey bird and it was good; the cinnamon roll was huge! Our waiter was great, I can't remember his name but he's a black guy with braces who's always smiling!!

I cannot rave about this place enough! The ambience was amazing- I absolutely love the decor. It feels like stepping into a classy, 30s vintage fairyland. I was immediately obsessed. The food was delicious- you absolutely must try their cinnamon rolls. Our table ended up ordering two extra main dishes because we wanted to try everything. It was so worth it! The portions are perfect, and the ingredients are very fresh. The service was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was polite, conversational, and professional. We never had to wait long, and there was a perfect balance of leaving us to eat / checking in on us.All in all, if I could leave 6 stars I would.Vegetarian options: Many options were labeled as "vegetarian friendly" or were able to be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: The menu was very descriptive and labeled vegan options. I am lactose intolerant, and I was able to easily identify dishes that were dairy free. Plus they had oat milk for their cappuccinos!

The atmosphere is unique and the chef came out to greet us! A group of friends wore flower dresses to match the decor. I know they took amazing pictures ?

My first visit and it was incredible! Great customer service, the management of the restaurant routinely checked in to make sure I was enjoying my meal, and the food was prepared exceptionally well. While the food I had was awesome, the lemonades and various flavors offered is what sealed the deal for me. I tried the peach and immediately got hooked. Can’t wait to bring others back to have the same experience!

Nestled in the heart of Roswell, Morningbirds Restaurant offers a brunch experience that's nothing short of delightful. Today, I had the pleasure of indulging in their renowned Chicken and Waffles, and I must say, it was a culinary journey worth savoring. From the moment the dish arrived, it was evident that Morningbirds takes great pride in their craft. The chicken wings were a testament to this dedication, fried to absolute perfection and seasoned with a finesse that elevated each bite. Each crispy morsel exuded flavor, leaving me craving for more with every mouthful.Accompanying the heavenly chicken were the waffles, a symphony of taste and texture. They were flawlessly cooked, boasting a golden hue that hinted at their delectable sweetness. Topped with just the right amount of syrup, they struck the perfect balance, melting effortlessly in my mouth with each forkful. No brunch experience is complete without a well-crafted cocktail, and Morningbirds certainly delivers in this aspect as well. The cocktail I had was a masterpiece in its own right—neither too bitter nor too sweet, but just right. It complemented the meal impeccably, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them.Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the ambiance of Morningbirds Restaurant adds to the overall experience. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff create a welcoming environment where patrons can unwind and relish in the culinary delights offered. In conclusion, my visit to Morningbirds Restaurant was an absolute pleasure. From the impeccable Chicken and Waffles to the perfectly balanced cocktail, every aspect of the experience surpassed expectations. Whether you're a brunch enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Morningbirds is sure to leave a lasting impression.

We had an amazing time at morningbirds! I visited for my birthday. The decor was phenomenal, from the walk in from outside to the beautiful moving pictures on the walls around the restaurant. We sat in the most beautiful booth, draped with vibrant flowers and lovely pillars. The services was stellar. All of the staff were attentive to our needs. Chef T even came out to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking. Everyone was friendly. The food was rich and decadent. Very flavorful. We had the catfish, grits topped with a crawfish sauce. Top-tier brunch experience. This is definitely my new brunch place!

Interesting restaurant with an interesting concept. Small but pretty place (Old J Christopher's behind VG's). They did a great job with the decor except the fake flowers don't go with the funky design of the rest of the place. LOVE the staff uniforms. Remind me of older times when people cared about the way they presented themselves - very classy! In fact, I think this place should be a classy, Supper Club! Like they had in the 'old days' - where folks dressed up and went out for a night on the town! To me, that's what the ambiance/decor is like, except for the fake flowers around the door. I just think the decor says 'nice dinner place' versus a brunch place.Ratings:1) I gave the food 3 stars...it was good but nothing stood out as 'wow' and comparable to any nice restaurant here in Roswell or Alpharetta. Obviously, one reason it is more expensive is that the sustainable sourcing (organic, etc.) makes it more costly though that doesn't come through in the taste. You have to be willing to pay more for healthier if that is your thing. Husband got the Short Rib w/Grits which was good and I got the Catfish w/Grits. Grits were cold but they brought me hot ones right away! (They had plenty of floor staff) I would have gotten the Wedge Salad as an app but I don't like Blue Cheese and they didn't have Ranch so we got two biscuits. They were good (not so healthy) but the butter was unsalted. :( Very bland. The jelly was good. 2) The service was SUPER SLOW...granted we did get in without a reservation Sunday around 1, albeit at the bar. But the bar service was super slow, too, although they had two bartenders. A mishap that I learned my lesson from: I asked the girl which glass of Prosecco was the driest or the champagne, and she named one. Then she said it came in one of those small individual bottles and asked if that was o.k. I should have asked how much it was. I just assumed it would be proportionate to 2 glasses or so, which were $10ish each. NOT! It was $84!~~~It was o.k. but not great for $84, but it was about 2.5 glasses. Oh, and their drink menu was on a tablet so I gave it back to them once she made the recommendation, so I couldn't look at it again without bothering her. Next time I will ask. :) 3) Again - love the decor and bar - minus the fake flowers.Side Note: they also have a Afternoon Tea service which is neat...reservations required. Steep price, though: $95 pp with NO alcohol! I don't mind paying for an experience, but I am pretty sure I would come away hungry and if I added a glass or two of wine, I would be pushing $150 for one person and it wouldn't even be a real meal!Definitely give it a shot. It's worth it just to see the inside and sit at the small, but cool, bar! You can tell the staff cares very much and that is mostly lacking nowadays and is quite refreshing!

Absolutely delightful little spot in Roswell. Came for brunch on a Saturday and immediately knew that I was going to love it. The decor is so nice and upscale and perfect for a date or a girly brunch. I had the chicken and waffles, and it was yummy. And a cocktail, although I can't remember, the name was also good. My companions also enjoyed their food and omelette and pancakes. Service was great. Very professional and not too pushy. I had such a lovely experience that before I left I stopped and made reservations for Mother's Day.

Excellent food! The staff bends over backwards to please. This restaurant is in the early phase of adding dinner to its repertoire and needs to resolve to either GO for it and add a proper menu of dinner entrees or stick with the breakfast/brunch service which it does so well.
