Food was pretty good, and we may return again - the reason for the “may” is further down. The place has been extended and renovated and now includes a bar. It looks beautiful.
The people were great - but PIERCINGS?? In a fully customer-facing job, taking and giving customer orders, with mouth piercings that looked like vampire teeth, through the lips and into their mouth? Each maybe an inch long and she couldn’t even close her mouth - small mercy that I didn’t see her drool.
Yes, that is *Extremely* offputting. If we come here to eat again and I see that standard of non professional dress in this or any other food establishment, I’ll turn around and walk out without ordering. Completely unprofessional.
This was not only my opinion - the next table was speaking about this too.
Why does this seem acceptable?
1- what in the world makes someone put these in their face 2- what makes someone think it’s acceptable for a customer facing job - around food 3- what type of establishment believes this is acceptable attire and hygiene.

We had a great time. I'm not sure what I was expecting with my molcajete but WOW! It was an impressive entree. Honestly, we probably could have split it three ways and been just fine. Everything in it was very good, but there was an incredible cheese that had been grilled that was my favorite; the moljacete was piping hot and the cheese got just a bit melted into the chorizo which was in the bottom of the bowl- it was glorious. I'm low carbing so I got it with veggies instead of beans and rice. I'll have food for a few more meals now and I'm very happy about that.

I love Mexican food! I came here because of the reviews! I got two cold tacos! The meat was tough on the carne asada tacos . I had a crunchy shell and a corn shell. Not a happy camper
