Absolutely ridiculous. We had a reservation for 5 people at 7 o clock for my dads birthday and they said they weren’t allowed to take 5 people and didn’t have availability for an hour.. will never visit this restaurant again. Terrible service.

If I wrote this review based on my most recent visit alone, I’d give it 0 stars but I won’t do that. I usually go for the oyster happy hour which is always great (I love their hot sauces) but I’ve tried the chicken salad sandwich, the burger (pictured) and the gumbo (with shrimp is a few dollars more, also pictured), not amazing but not bad.
I’ve only ever sat in the small outdoor area because the weather has been nice but I went yesterday when it was cold. I walked in and waited by the door for the hostess. I usually sit at the bar when dining alone but it was about 90% full and I didn’t really want to squeeze between others. After a few minutes, the hostess finally appears from a table where a group of the employees were sitting. She looks around at a few open tables for some time. At this point I’m assuming she thinks the tables are too large for a single diner so I tell her I’ll just squeeze in at the bar.
I’m finally seated. The bartender is helping other guests so I wait patiently for a menu. She tends to another couple and does other stuff for about 5 mins and then goes to sit back down at the table with the employees. I’m not easy to miss in environments where I’m the only black person so it felt intentional. I wave at her and catch her attention and she just stares at me confused. I get up and just walk to the restaurant next door where I was helped immediately.

We grabbed a quick lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is very small but it wasn’t crowded so we were able to get seated. We had the fried green tomatoes, and mixed Okra appetizer. We ordered the wings, steak and shrimp, and gumbo. All of the food was tasty, and I would recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Roux on Canton! We tried the Beef Roast and the Cajun Chicken Nachos — both were incredible. The flavors were bold, comforting, and perfectly prepared. The nachos especially had the perfect kick and great flavor! What made the meal even better was how much the kids enjoyed their food too — always a huge win for us! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Roux on Canton for anyone looking for great food and a great time!

This restaurant is cute, great ambiance, and service at the bar was great. We were here during Alive in Roswell, so they were busy. We ordered a drink and the fried grouper. The fish was delicious, I just wish we got a little more for $15. We’re planning on coming back for their oyster happy hour.
I ordered the steak chimmichurri. The flavor was great, but it was swimming in oil and not at all like the picture I saw online.

Great food, atmosphere, and drinks! A fun lively spot that feels like a local bar but is still open and airy. Come out and have a good time! It's a little loud so be prepared for that. Other than that it's great with all the walking traffic to people watch you could want too!
