Use to be reliable. Got a rakeout, shorted me one side. Previously got a side that was not up to par. Just not what it use to be

I forgot why I hadn't come here in 10 years. No bark or outside cut ever and vinegar base bbq sauce. It's gray meat with a watery sauce. But a very clean restaurant and great service

Angel and Veronica are great people. Fast and friendly service. Pulled pork, Lima beans, and Brunswick stew are my go to dish.

Another delicious dinner & great service! We’ve been coming here for years & it never disappoints. Great BBQ, southern sides, desserts, etc. They also have offerings besides BBQ. Check it out!

First time and won’t be back. People are very friendly but food wasn’t good. Had a “jumbo”brisket sandwich with not a lot of sliced beef, dryer than I expected and on a regular old bun I could get anywhere. The side dishes portions were ridiculously small- barely a 1/4 cup of baked beans and coleslaw on a styrofoam plate with sections. The coleslaw was pretty bad-bitter tasting and didn’t finish it. Heard good things but not coming back.

First time eating at Slopes sadly a huge disappointment. Spent $50 on food that is almost un edible. Macaroni and cheese was overcooked and mushy, so much vinegar in the hot sauce, It was painful. Cornbread tasted like it was made at 8 AM and The jalapeño grits were flavorless after you got through the oil. It wasn’t just one item that was disappointing. Everything we received was just not good. So disappointing cause the staff was extremely nice and place was clean. Just horrible food 👎🏼

We were passing through Roswell on 3/28/25 and found this place about 30 minutes before they closed. They gladly fed us and everything was fantastic. The brisket was amazing (try all their sauces) and the sweet tea was not too sweet. The people were awesome as well! Next time we’re in the area, we will definitely be back!

12:20pm I ordered the pulled pork sandwich meal with 2 sides. Mac and cheese and black eyed peas. The only thing edible was the peas and that is being generous. The Mac and cheese was soupy, ill flavored and tasted…. Well, Kraft is better. The pork was so dry. It was power in your mouth. Like dried meat. It was such an unfortunate experience. I threw the plate away and opted for chicken fil a smh. Maybe it was just a bad day. Everyone was nice and the environment was clean and inviting.

I stopped in for some takeout today when I was out on that side of Roswell and had been looking forward to trying Slope's. I ordered a pork & chicken (dark meat) combo plate with collards and jalapeño cheese grits.

The good:
The chick was well cooked and smoky. The cornbread tasted like a decent (albeit a bit too sweet) box mix. The sauce was excellent - tangy, a hint of sweetness, and some good seasoning.

The bad:
The pork and collards had almost no flavor at all. I couldn't detect any smoke on the pork and no seasoning whatsoever. The collards tasted like they chopped them up and boiled them, with no seasoning, smoked meat, hot sauce, or anything. Just wilted greens in water.

The jalapeño cheese grits tasted a bit like jalapeño, but they were undercooked (still gritty), lacked any cheesy flavor, and I think they were entirely unsalted.

Maybe a caught an off-day. I'll be back to try it again and will update accordingly. It looks like they do fried fish on Fridays and Saturdays, so that may be a good option.

Always good bar-b-q. When we lived in the area my family ate here at least once a week. Even though it's under new ownership nothing has changed except the menu technology. When we travel back from Florida it's a must dine for us.

Parking: Ample spaces large parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ada ramp from parking lot.
