A lovely little soup and sandwich place to hit after a nice brusk walk over at Vickery Creek next door. This place is open only during the day, so if you can, try getting yourself there for lunch. Once done, there is a brewery next door where you could go for a pint if you've decided to take the rest of the afternoon off.The staff are awesome, friendly, and greet you with a smile.Their lunch combo is wholesome and very filling. The value for your money is very good as you get a sandwich, a soup, a bread roll, a drink, a cookie and a fruit. Look for the daily specials as you get into the line to order. There is no set menu, and it changes day to day. You can also buy the soup stocked in the refrigerator to take home if you want. There is plenty of inside seating along with a few outdoor tables as well.

I use to frequent the Souper Jenny on the Westside when I worked downtown. I was so excited when I started working in Roswell and found that there was a location in close proximity to my new office. I enjoy their daily selections. My favorite being the chicken & dumpling is amazing. The soups are made in house with fresh ingredients. They also feature a selection of salads and sandwiches. You can sample the soups and salads before committing, which I love. The service is great. The ladies in there are extremely kind and patient when answering questions of newcomers.

The food is always good. We arrived somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes before closing. Everything was packaged up. I certainly understand that everybody wants to go home at the end of the day but we were treated with irritation and disdain when we tried to order. There were people sitting in the restaurant eating so it didn't seem like a big deal to be served. The one in Decatur used to have such sparkly nice people back when I would go. Definitely miss that here. Salad was the bomb!

Great soups, salads, sandwiches, and cookies! Dogs allowed on the patio around back — they have a water bowl out for them. And the staff were very pleasant!

I got takeout from here at 3:00. Props to Souper Jenny for having good soups and making them in house, as well as the salads. But they prepack their takeout salads and just leave them on the counter at RT. Then charge 9$ for a 16 oz salad. The container of salad I got looked (and tasted) like it had been sitting out since they opened, or at least hours before I purchased it. I got the kale Caesar. When I got home <10 minutes away, the cheese was limp and nearly melted from sitting at room temp for so long. It was disgusting. I had to throw it out. If you can't figure out how to make and package your food fresh then figure out a better line system.Edit: a few hours after eating a whole bowl of their chili, my wife got sick and is still sick today. We've been eating the same things all week and it was just after this that she got sick. Based on how they handle their salads at the end of the day I don't doubt that it had something to do with their food handling.

This is the number one not sponsored review for soup and it says closed.Yelp helps me find restaurants i don't want to go to more than places i do actually want to go to.

Had a great experience on a cold rainy day. Got a soup and salad and was pleasantly surprised. Had a unique gumbo soup. Sausage was great and also had kale in it. Didn't think I would like it but it was good. The bbq chicken sandwich also was a surprise. Was expecting it to be warm and it was cold. Had Cole slaw on it. Was surprised at the great flavor. Had a roll which was also good with a m & m cookie. Service was quick. There were also samples available. A great place if vegan food was needed or gluten free. Great ambiance. Some outside seating if the temp was warmer. Wife would love the place.

Great selection of delightful soups with a very chill indoor / outdoor atmosphere. ?Have a walk / hike at the Roswell Mill, then get a hot bowl of soup = best way to do lunch. ?

Healthy simple ingredients local lunch place. They offer different menu based on seasonal vegetables.I definitely recommend lunch combo. It is $18 and you get to choose soup + sandwich or salad + house made chocolate chip cookie + drink + fresh fruitsIt was my second time visiting souper Jenny at Roswell. Staff were friendly nice and fast served. All the food is made each day which allowed me to quickly order and get my food. It is my go to place every time I have meeting near here. They do have lots of parking but this is a busy place so it is hard to find a parking lot.I was able to park after I chased someone leaving.

It's a simple concept - soup, salad & sandwiches (a few different choices of each), but they do it so well! Went based on a recommendation from a local resident & we loved it. Both indoor & outdoor seating. And don't forget the chocolate chip cookie, it's yummy!

I am obsessed with souper Jenny. I moved to Cobb county and make an occasional drive up to Roswell just to come to this location—I had the best chipotle sweet potato soup the other day and wish I could have bought the whole pot. I highly recommend giving them a taste if you’re out for lunch—I’m currently sick and craving the love of a souper Jenny soup! Wishing they would open a location in Smyrna!!
