Taqueria Tsunami

I got the Tsunami Quatro: Asada Zing Taco, BBQ Short Rib Taco, and the Pacific Rim Taco. All of them were good but The Pacific Rim Taco was awesome! So yummy! The salsa was also great. The manager Kennedy stopped by our table and introduced himself and let us know if we ever need anything to let him know. It's always nice when someone from management checks in on the tables.

Food was very mediocre. Queso came out just warm and not hot. Tacos were okay but nothing ground breaking. Salad was fairly bland and the dressing was salty.

We wouldn't go back. I've been a few times over the years and every time has been very mediocre.

We love this location. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere is perfect for an evening out with kids.

I have heard about this place for a few years. It is good. Quality food and some great combinations of cuisines to make a great meal. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Good service overall especially considering we were a party of more than 15 people.

Found this restaurant randomly while in town for business, WOW, completely blown away! The food, the service, the facility, amazing! A Taqueria Tsunami in Matthews, North Carolina would make me very happy! Freakin’ amazing! I have no idea why there wasn’t a wait.

Stopped in for an afternoon bite and was delighted to discover this gem! I was not hungry but wanted a little snack. Luckily for me, they have a lot of finger foods for you to choose from. My server was so attentive and made sure I was informed about the menu. The vibe was very chill. I could have sat there all day long! I ordered the avocado egg rolls and some queso. The egg rolls were sensational. I’ve never had guacamole quite like that before. There may be no turning back. The queso was good too. The chips were really crushed up though. Last I could not leave this spot without seeing if they could make some A+ churros. They did not disappoint! These churros were crunchy, chewy and perfectly dusted. I could come back just for them lol. Overall great spot. I hear they are all over ATL. Stop by one when you get a chance. Tell them that ASH SAID IT sent ya! #ashsaidit

This place is extremely popular for a good reason. Great infusion of flavors and the prices are fantastic for the portions and ingredients. Great spot.

Parking: Plenty of parking but you may have to park a little away from the front door.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for our rollers out there. Seating options for wheelchairs.

Love the flavors and ready fast. Not too busy later at night. Staff friendly. Best short rib taco, also liked the Korean carnitas and the pacific rim tacos. Yes to the mango sangrita.
Highly recommend sitting outside too if nice weather!
