Enjoyed the happy hour specials! We also had a deal on wine. The service was great. Only thing on charcuterie board wish we had a warning that the pickles were spicy! Enjoyed the brie and Brussel sprouts. Chef actually modified the sprouts a tad for me and they were delicious.
Went to celebrate a birthday. Everything was amazing! Our see Gio I think was his name was fantastic with suggestions and making sure everything was perfect. The manager checked in on us and was extremely pleasant. Highly recommend the Tuna it was amazing!
A great night relaxing with friends. Highly recommend the charcuterie board for the perfect grazing dish. And Half Price Wines on Wine Down Wednesday made it even better.
I love the burgers and fries at The Mill, and I am already looking forward to going again. The app toasted Brie on sourdough was also outstanding. At a previous visit I had the pimento cheese app and loved it to.
The food was spectacular, the waiter was amazing, I love this restaurant and everything about it
Douglas was the best server ever! Will be back. Devil eggs and pimento cheese fritters are outstanding.
First time in. Nice restaurant. Great service .Had the fried green tomato appetizer. Was very good. And the Brussels sprouts were very good .The fish special was undercooked and the broccoli was hard . Would try again
Almost always a wonderful time at the Mill, but our most recent visit had us seated adjacent to the bar area while one of the lead staff members was holding court, having fun at the top of her lungs at 6:30 on a Friday, making it nearly impossible to hold a conversation or talk to the waitress. It was odd, and challenging and frustrating. I'm sure we will be back.
Food was good, - we had and amazing braised short rib and average trout. The personnel looked overworked and sad. Restroom was so crowded that I had too pass. Inside the noise level is extremely high, making it hard to have a normal conversation.
Food was not up to usual standard. Did not like the DJ's music - not the right music for an older crowd.

Always great Southern food and service. Shrimp and grits and Pimento Burger were rather large servings. On the flip side, I was highly disappointed with the salmon and the price paid compared to the portion received. We had a small issue with one of our meals but it was handled promptly and professionally. Definitely recommend The Mill Kitchen and Bar - you'll love the food and ambience! Head to Canton St. afterwords!
Honestly, we had a wonderful time on Christmas Eve. The food was outstanding. The service was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend if you're looking for a nice place to take your family or a date, to check this place out , really top notch.
Experience was ok. Food was fine for the most part but overpriced, impacting overall value. The valet service was good.
We had a great first visit to The Mill Kitchen & Bar! Our server was fantastic and even gave us a free appetizer to kick off our little family reunion. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
We were expecting an amazing experience for Thanksgiving for $65 per plate, plus gratuity, plus drinks. Instead, we got, “meh.” The room was nice and bright and the ambience was good. The waiter was very friendly and we liked him a lot. The food was less impressive. Not good. Not bad. We didn’t leave hungry, but to give you an idea of the quality, the best items were the biscuits and the pumpkin pie. Everything else was edible. Specifically… The buttermilk biscuits were the best I’ve ever had. Definitely the highlight of our meal. The potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. The vinegar apple parsnip bisque was good. The pecan pie was good, as well, and the chocolate chess pie was good if you eat it with coffee to cut the richness. But the dealbreaker was: THEY SERVED US PRESSED TURKEY. Pressed meat in the shape of a turkey breast. 😬 For $65/plate. Not kidding! (Look it up if you don’t know what it is. Not good!) Also, the prime rib was more the texture of corned beef and had been rubbed with some kind of smoke flavor rub. (They don’t have a smoker as far as I know. And I began to swell shortly afterwards, so presumably due to salt and chemicals. 🫤) Overall, quite disappointing for that price. I would at least expect real turkey. We left spending $180 for above average food. Not worth it. We will not be going back.
