After being here a few times it is apparent they have a strategy of bringing out your first few items right away then delaying the next set of items. Yesterday we ordered two sheets within 10 minutes of each other at about 6:45 & 6:55 respectively, and received one order at 7:14 and the next at 8:10. Waiting close to an hour and a half for an order of 4 rolls.
The food actually was great outside of when we found a tiny roach in the miso soup, and the cucumber tasting like a chemical and ruining our appetite on 3 of the rolls. It is just tough to rate it higher than 2 stars when that happens and it ruins your guests appetites.
This is not our servers fault any of this happened, she was nice. She informed us management took 20% off our bill, which is nice to cover the tip.
The primary reason I wrote this this morning is because I want to call out the way the restaurant uses the technique of bringing out one order of filling food then waiting an hour to bring out the next round at an ayce to limit how much you can really eat. It was a real let down on that account.
I hope next time it is quicker service and no sour cucumbers, really want to see this place do well being a big fan of ayce.
Food service and price are all excellent. Couldn't recommend more highly
It was atoss btwn this place or sushi kingdom for lunch. I have been to sushi kingdom so thought I'd give this place a try. Atmosphere was decent. Service was ok but a bit slow. It took about 20 mins to get my sushi order and they charge $1-2 for each leftover pc. I only had an hr for lunch so i was late returning. The cucumber in my rolls tasted sour so the server agreed not to charge me for the leftover pcs. It was ok overall but I probably will not return.
I'm a sushi snob and let me tell you they serve fresh sushi! Its all you can eat you make an order and then they make it for you. Just make sure to finish the sushi or you're going to have to pay for each sushi that you haven't finished. You can also order different dishes that is not all you can eat. If you come in a certain time you get the best deal for your money on all you can eat. The service is great too! You won't be disappointed if you give it a try.
I wish I could give this place a score higher than 5 star. Went for my college aged son’s birthday and they went out of their way to make the lunch special for him. Food was great too. I love coming to this restaurant.
Our group of friends went in on a Sunday after working out. The food presentation was good, hot items were freshly prepared/fried. The service could be a little better since they're not many people but I understand this is like a family-run restaurant. They have a lot of varieties but we didn't order a lot since we don't want to waste food. May I suggest you to give customers an option to order a half of any specialty roll vs. a full roll? So we can try more items. Please keep the quality and we will be back soon.
Place did not smell like a restaurant, food tasteless, service poor. Will not be back.
I love this place for sushi. There was a time when you could get absolutely top notch sushi that was a little pricey. Now, top tier sushi costs a fortune and value sushi (while it has generally gotten just a bit better than it used to be) is extremely disappointing. Most sushi is somewhere in between but experimenting is stressful. Am I about to overpay for disappointing sushi? What if the quality/freshness is so low that I don’t even want to eat it? What if I spend $40 and still feel the need to grab a quarter pounder on the way home?
I have been eating sushi for decades but I’m still an amateur. However, from my perspective, this is high quality “value” sushi. What I mean by that is, you can find sushi with higher quality/execution but it will cost a fortune. Think expensive, high end sushi bars. This is among the best of the best “value” sushi I’ve ever had and it has been that way each visit over the last 5-6 years. Fresh, delicious, quality ingredients AND good selection in an All You Can Eat setting.
This place is SO FAR from where I live and I still make an effort to hazard the traffic and come here at least a few times a year. I wish I could come a lot more often but it’s a real time investment for me to travel here. This is my FAVORITE place for sushi since my favorite little, reasonably priced, sushi bar moved locations more than 15 years ago.
So you know, this place was a true buffet before COVID. Now you sit down and place your order on paper menus. They wait on you, take your orders back and bring your food. You can order over and over, AYCE. They do have a policy of charging you for what you don’t eat so you don’t order a ton of stuff just to waste it. I have never been charged for food overages but I have always eaten all my sushi. My wife has left a little on her plate from hibachi but it isn’t like she ordered tons of stuff not to eat half of it. From my experience, it seems that they use reasonable judgement about charging for uneaten food.
We always like this restaurant and visited it about a yr ago before moving. We went to see our son yesterday and visited it together. It’s now all you can eat and need to order the food from menu. The price for lunch is very reasonable and we are surprised that the food quality tasted better and decent. One of the pro ordering from menu is that the food taste fresher and hotter. Service is nice and quick. Will visit it again!
Really good. The price was high. The system was a little hard to understand. All you can eat.

To be honest, as someone who works in the restaurant industry, I typically don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
Quality of food was very poor. From minor details like how the sushi was cut, and how the ingredients in the sushi were prepped (avocados being too big, sushi falling apart to touch), to bigger details like the overall taste of the dishes, nothing was up to par with anything in the area (or in the entire state of Georgia from my experience for that matter). Other than the sushi, the noodle dish I ordered was very cold, and the spring rolls tasted like the ones you get from Publix.
Service was not great, we waited for our check for over 30 minutes, and were checked on just once by our server before check delivery. And this over an hour after being sat.
Overall great sushi spot if your go to sushi you usually get is from Kroger or Publix, but if you have any appreciation for good sushi, I wouldn’t go near this restaurant.
Nice clean atmosphere. Service was good. Portions were good for the price. Group of 10.
Went to have lunch on Sunday. The place is nice, it looks like it needs to be taken care of it a little more but it’s ok.
Service was fine the girl was nice but looked like she was still in training, anyway she was nice to us.
Food was not bad but we paid $80 for two people. I’ve eaten way better sushi for that amount.
Tokyo Bay roll was really good, the tokoyakis and gyozas as well. Do not order the coconut macaroon.
This place has amazing food, and the wait staff is always so polite and on top of whatever you need.
It’s embarrassing how many times I felt like I needed to thank the waiter, he was always bringing me something I needed, or didn’t even know I needed yet. Which I usually did once I realized. Wish I could give more than 5 stars
Great options! I had the all you can eat and three rolls filled me up. Super high quality, quick service, and great atmosphere.
