30 Best Wine Bars near Roswell

“I am late to this review though I was able to visit before the Grand opening and glad I did! After a visit to Crazy Love Coffee nearby, I thought I'd drop by here and made it just before close.

The area is in a nice spot not far from Historic Roswell which makes it easy to get in and out. Once I entered, I noticed everyone talking and being friendly with each other - stark contract from taphouses, breweries or even coffee spots that have people everywhere yet no one is interacting. You can easily tell that the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

When it came to the wine and beer selection, there's something for everyone. I was happy to try the Octoberfest / Marzen along with an amazing sour I wish I remembered the name of.

The staff was welcoming, people were friendly, drinks were good. Can't ask for more. Definitely the place to go for a weekday or weekend drink to relax when in the area.“

“My wife and I go to a wine tasting couple times a year here. It is a little pricey but it is a fun thing to do and the wine is good and the food is excellent. They serve appetizers with each two pores of wine. Recommend getting a full glass of wine and a separate appetizer when you get there.

Vegetarian options: They can accommodate some vegetarian options. But many of their appetizers do have meat.

Parking: Parking is in a large shared strip mall parking area.

Kid-friendliness: This event is not for kids. Many couples are there spending an evening away from their kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: The space is on the ground floor. The door is a single door, but I don't know if there's any wheelchair accessible seating. Most of this is at a bar height.“

“This has always been one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always outstanding. The ambiance is awesome. The service is consistently top-notch! The price point is very fair for the overall dining experience. Go! You will not be disappointed!“

“I can’t say enough about my experience at Cattle Shed! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. Every server was attentive and knowledgeable, but the real standout was Manager Alexis. She came by my table multiple times and I noticed her doing the same throughout the restaurant—checking on guests, running food, greeting people, recommending menu items, and making sure everyone’s expectations were exceeded. The steak was absolutely amazing—cooked perfectly—and the entire restaurant, including the restrooms, was spotless. The staff really know the menu inside and out. They offered thoughtful suggestions for wine, appetizers, drinks, and dessert pairings, which made the whole dining experience feel elevated. I’ll definitely be back! I even joked with Alexis that I could eat two steaks if I wasn’t on diet medication (and sadly had to pass on dessert). She’ll probably remember me for that! Overall, an incredible meal and phenomenal service. Highly recommend Cattle Shed and especially Manager Alexis for making it such a memorable experience.“

“Never been to The Capital Grille before but heard so many great things about it. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience. I made a 530p reservation, about 2 weeks prior, for their Wagyu & Wine special. My mother is a hamburger connoisseur!! As I was leaving my house to make the 45min commute, I received a phone call from the hostess, letting me know that she'd like to apologize, but they were sold out of the Wagyu. It was 4:41pm!! Dinner service just started!!! I decided to go anyway because again, I've never been there. Get there and there were several others, waiting in the foyer, that were talking about the Wagyu special being SOLD OUT. We sat down ordered some drinks and placed our food order. The bar seemed a bit understaffed as there was just 1 bartender to handle the bar, service bar, the hi-tops, and the booths (in the bar area). Our apps were brought about 7-10 min after we ordered. Our drinks (2 glasses of wine + 1 mixed drink) took 30 min. The soup was cold and the calamari was just room temp. The bartender, Donte, was able to get us another soup, fresh and hot. When our entrees came, the lobster crab cake was just lukewarm but we managed. I hate to send stuff back. Too bad I could not avoid sending the burgers back... They were ordered MR and MW (slight pink). They both came out Well Done. Mind you, these are not the Wagyu burgers...they are the regular burgers from their lunch menu! The bartender was clearly apologetic and offered a dessert. We ordered the apple tart and it unfortunately did not land either. The ice cream was way too sweet as if it was laced with too much caramel or toffee. The crust was bit soft and un seemed underbaked. I truly think that the bartender had a lack of help from the waitstaff. Our food staying in the window, getting overcooked, because while he's making drinks for the restaurant, I don't think the servers were too interested in running bar food they see in the window. Been there!“

We ordered 3 different pizzas, a Mediterranean salad with shrimp, chicken, cannolis, walnut cake, 2 different types of Italian ice cremes and everyone walked away with a smile.\nThis was excellent Italian food all made from scratch. The pizzas are the real thing! Forget N.Y. Style or Chicago. I’ve been to Italy numerous times and this is what food is supposed to taste like.\nI only have one regret, and that was with the fried Calamari appetizer. In Italy I often get a seafood salad made with fresh pickled calamari. Please try offering this rather than the fried which seems to be served in every bar and chain restaurant in Georgia.“

They also do a lot of local sponsoring which is great for the family feel and honest presence. The food is phenomenal, the place is gorgeous! “Firebirds is in Peachtree Corners Town Center is a lovely restaurant. The decor is so well done and the separation between the bar and dining areas is perfect. Peggy was our server and she shared her experience as a tech executive who joined the server team and did a great job and has a cute sense of humor and went along with our Magellan nickname. The GM Roland was friendly and great as he did his rounds of his guests.“
