The name of this establishment fits it very well “Wngs 101” an introduction course to wings because it’s definitely not for advanced wing eaters. I honestly stopped here to use the bathroom but decided to grab lunch. I opted for the wings and catfish as I’m trying to increase my protein intake. There is an option to add fries for $1, I asked if I could get broccoli instead I would even pay extra , the lady at the counter told me “you want everything but you have to think about the cook” mam the customer knows best I don’t want all that fried stuff i need balance. Wings were tiny no flavor at all, hush puppy saturated in grease and catfish was definitely SWAI (mushy mild flavor) and of course a pile of fries, will not return
Response to owner: I don’t care about a drink or that grease saturated hush puppy , I offered to pay for broccoli you failed the customer

We really love wings. A friend recommended this place, so we came to try it, and the food is really good. I heard the ownership has changed. Both of them are very friendly, and the place is really clean. I think we’ll probably come here once or twice a week.

The two new owners here are absolute gems. The customer service is on another level. They are welcoming, attentive, and genuinely care about every customer who walks in.
The food is delicious. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take pride in what they serve and it shows in the taste.
If you are in the area and want great food with incredible service, this is the spot. Highly recommend.

The wings had no flavor. I get hot and lemon pepper. They both taste the same. They were not hot and the lemon pepper had no lemon pepper taste. Some had the little feathers still on them and bruised. I was very dissatisfied. Felt like.I wasted my money. The person I was sharing them with could eat them. They complained as well. A refund is needed. I wanted a o give a zero..

Do not waist your money. Ordered Whiting fish, small pieces, old and over cooked. Lemon pepper wings, tiny, and over cooked. Sweat potato fries, over cooked. Shrimp fried rice, very dry. Hush puppies cooked right, but they didn't taste like hush puppies. You need to add a little corn meal and dice up some onions. They tasted like Dunkin donuts plain old fashion donuts.

Service was great! The girl who greeted us was super friendly. I just feel like It’s rare to order x-hot and to charge $1 extra for asking for extra hot wings shouldn’t cost me an extra $1 especially when their xtra hot is like regular hot closer to mild. It wasn’t even that hot to me at all. I had to pay an extra dollar for regular wings. Could’ve went to wing stop and got atomic wings no extra charge. Other than that the fried rice was good. Just wish the extra hot was actually extra hot. Especially if I had to pay extra for them. Since when we have to pay extra for that anyways. Noticed it with other wing spots. Just please make sure it’s actually extra hot because mine was not at all. Almost mild. Please make extra hot actually hot. Cause that was close to mild.
**Honest Review: Mixed Feelings About Our Experience**
My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner as part of our intermittent fasting routine, where we only eat one meal a day. My husband was craving a burger, and I was in the mood for a gyro. Since they offered both, we thought it was the perfect spot—but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to our expectations.
When we arrived, the gentleman working there (of Asian descent) was incredibly kind and welcoming, which we truly appreciated. The food came out quickly, but that’s where the positives ended.
For my gyro, the large pita was filled with a lot of lettuce, a small amount of tomato and onion, a decent portion of tzatziki sauce, and just two very thin slices of meat. It felt like they had taken a single slice of deli ham, folded it over, and called it a gyro. It was disappointing, especially considering the size of the sandwich.
My husband’s burger was also underwhelming. The bun was enormous compared to the small, frozen-tasting patty inside, which didn’t seem fresh at all. The flavors were so bland that he said it was forgettable even while eating it.
We also ordered wings from "Wings 101," and they were another letdown. The wings were overcooked to the point of being tough and dry, almost like jerky, and they were some of the smallest wings we’ve seen in a long time. To add to the disappointment, we were given just one carrot stick and one celery stick as sides.
For a meal that cost $35, the portion sizes and quality left us feeling hungry and disappointed. It was clear that corners were being cut—perhaps due to tight margins—but this came at the expense of the customer experience. If you’re charging $35 for a meal, it needs to reflect that value in freshness, portion sizes, and overall quality.
The gentleman working there did ask several times if everything was okay, and while his kindness didn’t go unnoticed, the food unfortunately didn’t match the service. My suggestion to the business would be to reconsider portion sizes, focus on cooking to order, and ensure the quality of ingredients matches the price point.
Sadly, we left feeling like we didn’t get what we paid for. Best of luck to the business moving forward—there’s potential here, but some adjustments are definitely needed.
