Great experience! The food and service were both wonderful! They offer 4 covered outdoor tables (ceiling fans) if you're dining with your doggo (water bowl was offered). Big variety of food & alcoholic drinks are available. Public parking is located all around. They offer 3 table breads: wheat rolls, pumpkin bread, and jalapeno cornbread (so yummy). We tried the special of the day (baked white fish), tuna steak , crab cake app, & coconut shrimp app. Both main dishes...
The food is good, but pricing is a bit ridiculous. You can order a vegetable plate with 4 vegetables and the price is $18-19, over $4 for iced tea, add in the credit card charge, then the land trust charge, and you are paying $25 for 1 person. Oops, don’t forget the tip. You get the point.
This appears to be a standard Southern “meat and 3” but it is far from it! They are rightly proud of their crab cakes and She Crab Soup. Both were delicious! And the vegetable “sides” were also exceptional. I know it sounds crazy but the stewed tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had anywhere! This place is a local treasure! We’ll be back.
