I had the privilege of dining here on my way home on a road trip to Massachusetts from Florida and I was blown away by the food! The portions were not only large but extremely delicious! You can tell that love went into every plate! I ordered a crab cake to start. Packed full of lump crab (no fillers there!) I then ordered the shrimp and grits with squash casserole and cabbage! Probably not so much a hidden gem since it’s located at St. Simon’s Island but it has that feel. Every one in our family loved their selection, ranging from pot roast to crab cake sandwich to pumpkin bread. Bring your appetite as the servings are large.
Great food here. Especially their shrimp and grits which are some of the best I’ve had. Their crab cakes are really good too. I also love the bread basket you get before your meal. The atmosphere is very homey and down to earth. Love it!
