ordered take out, was still warm when I got home. Bread was awesome and pasta was great, best part was the marinara. Very good for a small kitchen.

The cheese bread & deep dish pizza was amazing! Cute a cute little spot! Welcomed right when we walked in and waitresses were awesome as well! Even had a little helper who got us our drinks!

Best pizza and best vibe on the island with all the cool ethos one could possibly want in their local pizza joint. And don't sleep on the spaghetti and meatballs. Huge portions of both good food and good attitude - Saint Simons institution!

Ok it's all about the deep dish pizza. So good! I've lived in a lot of good pizza cities and CJs deep dish ranks up there! We actually ordered it twice in one week.

Kid-friendliness: They give the kids dough to play with which is cute.

Ordered to go, first time (embarrassed to say) to get food from here.

When I went to pick it up I immediately noticed how similar of an environment to neighborhood New York restaurants. It was comforting to my brain nearly blew as I said I am definitely gonna come back here and eat in the restaurant

We ordered a extra large pepperoni and meatball. The crust is what I call Sicilian.

I was born in Brooklyn and this is the style you would see in the Italian neighborhood.

The pizza looked like it did when I was a kid growing up. There is a place named the spumoni garden in Brooklyn.

Its an An institution that has been around since the 1930s. Incredible place, grandma used to order Italian ices that were delivered to their brownstone by horse and buggy

An institution that has been around since the 1930s. The pizza that I purchased brought back memories when I looked at it and took in the aroma.

I have not seen that style in such a long time, kudos to you.

I would definitely have rated the Pizza five stars however I am a pepperoni freak. I don't believe anything else belongs on a pizza.

Though it was on the order it never made it to the pizza. That was a huge Bummer to me.

So just just meatball pizza it was. Yes I was bummed, seldom have I had a pizza with no pepperoni

Last thing we had was the Greek salad, which we both truly enjoyed. Their house dressing is very, very good and the greens on the salad were fresh, crisp, and it tasted great. Excellent salad

We had breadsticks which I did not try. My partner did and he truly enjoyed them.

Overall, it was a very take out dinner (make sure you tip the cooks). We will definitely be back to order takeout, but more importantly, to eat in the restaurant to experience what they do

I wish I could leave a negative star review. I have lived in glynn county for my whole life and have never heard of CJ's Italian restaurant until tonight...I wish I could go back to not knowing about this place. We went during dinner tonight 7/18. It was a little busy but we were able to find a table easily. After sitting for about 5 minutes, I saw a waiter walk by. I asked if we would be presented with menus he immediately barked back with that he was busy and someone would be with us. I had no clue how things worked since it was my first time there. Another customer heard him say that to me and she left almost instantly. We finally got a waitress to attend to us. We placed our order for drinks and food. We both ordered meatball penne pasta with a house salad. Never once did we receive refills on our drinks. We actually didn't see the waitress at our tables again until I asked for a box and the check. Overall the food was good but slightly mediocre. The meatballs were tasty but weren't cooked in the sauce like you would expect. Everything was just thrown together. The pasta was wet and it watered down the sauce. I really wanted to like my dinner tonight but the poor service really put a damper on the whole experience. I guess it's because it waitress didn't have a problem taking to customers at other tables while shunning us at ours. CJ's, I know you can do better. I really want to give you a second chance. Maybe I'll wait for winter to visit again when it isn't tourist season.

Honestly I thought it would be a great place to go, I love Alfredo and Italian is always a good go-to place in my mind. Well they were busy, so it’s understandable to a degree, but one waiter kept biting peoples head off and was completely rude. Yelling at people who would just be walking in to sit down, with no sign whether to seat yourself or wait we didn’t know what to do, so we tried to sit down and the guy yelled at us and was completely rude about not just sitting down and to talk to them first, what the heck?
Ordered the penne chicken alfredo, which was told it was a big bowl so we only ordered one, it was a small bowl, barely shareable as described. Alfredo came out of a jar and was cold, and honestly was not good. Bread sticks were hard and tasteless. I truly had high hopes for this place.
Only good thing was our waitress was super sweet and took care of us well.

The place was lovely and they have done a lot of decor in a small place. The food was excellent but I found the service a bit slow and not very polite. Go there for good Italian food which is freshly prepared.

Vegetarian options: There are breadsticks and pizzas available which are vegetarian
