So the food was pretty good. The service though… oof. It was horrible. We were one of two people eating here and it took 1.5 hours to get our food. They were gone for almost 15 minutes with our card when it was finally time to pay. Might be worth going to again if the service ever picks up.

We came to visit Georgia, celebrating my birthday, and stopped here for lunch. Our waitress (Maddie) was great, sweet young lady. Their special for the day was meatball sandwich, which was served right out of refrigerator and the onion rings were not cooked (saggy). Food was sent back to kitchen. My chicken sandwich was not good/ or tasty; disappointing experience.

Had fabulous hamburger and the best onion rings ever. Don't be mislead, they have a menu filled with great choices. The ambiance is very nice, we like sitting at the bar when it's just my wife and me. Decor is lots of dark oak, very country club feel, and even though this is part of the Sea Island Resort, this particular venue is open to the public, as is the adjoining golf shop. Golf is available only ti members and hotel guests. For golf fans, what could be more fun than dining in Davis Love's very own grill?

Excellent burgers and sandwiches. My favorite is the turkey melt, with the burger as a close second. The service is wonderful, but don't go if you're in a hurry. This is the place to sit down, relax, and unwind.
