Fresh fantastic food located in a cool spot. Our fav, Empanadas and Bolognese! So delicious. Friendly servers too!

The appetizers of Argentinian sausage, fried provolone cheese, lamb empanada and bread were excellent. The main course with a New York Strip and one with the Ribeye were excellent. Service was very good. The only reason we didn't give 5 Stars across the board was due to how horribly nasty the unisex restroom was, not to mention how bad it smelled. Almost gagging bad. Improvement with the cleanliness of the restroom would warrant 5 Stars.

The food is absolutely delicious. I had a pasta dish and it might be the best I've ever had (and I eat out at high end restaurants a lot). The Ribeye steak was perfect. Fatty enough, but not too much, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The Cesar salad phenomenal, could have been colder but very good. My biggest complaint is the restaurant seems dirty. We were sat by the windows overlooking the street and they were filthy. Not just outside film from the sea spray but inside filth like they haven't been cleaned in months (or ever). The hallway to the bathroom needs to have a good wash at an attempt to mask the smell. We will definitely go back for the food, but hopefully management sees this review and the windows and takes more pride in their establishment's appearance.

We decided rather last minute to go to dinner on a Monday night, and having been to Del Sur before, we called to see if they could fit a rather large party (10 people) in. Despite being relatively full, they not only fit us in, but put us all at a great table. The staff was excellent, the customer service was great, and the food was very good. Could not be more pleased with our experience. Thank you!

Enjoyed the food and service. The only very slight change needed is that the carrots needed to be roasted more in the roasted vegetable dinner as they were still a bit firm. Otherwise, we really enjoyed everything about Del Sur.

Great spot to get a nice dinner. The steaks were very good and the staff friendly. If the weather is nice the patio area is a good place to eat outside.

Amazing dinner, great service. Our server Kyle recommended the skirt steak and salmon entrees - we ordered both and they were excellent. My husband said the steak rivaled the best he's ever had. Kyle was knowledgeable and attentive.

I saw the DDD episode where Guy visited Del Sur two weeks before I was scheduled to visit the island. I booked a reservation immediately. I am so glad that I did. we began the evening with the Grilled Provoleta and a beef empanada. Both were amazing. The server might tell you that you need to order the bread to go with the grilled cheese, but it's honestly not necessary though the bread is delicious. Then onto the main course SKIRT STEAK!!!! I grew up eating skirt steak and this might have been one of the best skirt steaks I've ever had. I had it with a side of Parmesan risotto and an incredible Argentinian Malbec to wash it all down. We were at the restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, but I think the present came to all of us with an incredibly delicious meal and wonderful service. I spoke to Maui, who is actually from Argentina and he was so friendly and kind that I honestly feel like I am now part of his Argentinian family. If you are in St Simons Island and do not visit Del Sur, you are absolutely missing out. Can't wait to return on my next visit to the island!!!

Del Sur is a great restaurant. We drop in whenever in St Simons. We particularly enjoy beef empanadas, some of the best we've eaten. The steak entrees are wonderful. The beef is amazing. We have had other entrees and they're good. Options for everyone. Nice wine list. Never have room for dessert. You should go. You won't be disappointed.

Were there 4/8/25 Ordered the ribeye...major disappointment. Fatty and not tender. Manager spoke to us and said it was going to have that much fat, no comment on tenderness. Could not cut wife's steak, had to saw thru with knife. Manager made no apology. Ordered med-well and med. for me. Neither were correct. Was not a 44$ steak. Our first visit 8 years ago was superb! This visit was not.

Parking: Food was disappointing... but I highly recommend Mullet Bay as the food was excellent and worth the prices.

Will keep it short,

Food was good, steak was generous size for the price, a bit undercook which is a no no for me considering it's an Argentinian steak house and are supposed to know their temps.

Appetizers were delicious, blown away by their quality, chorizo was perfect and beef empanadas were savory.

Drinks were top notch, really good old fashions.

Service was a lil slow, manager was attentive with certain customers but not all, bartender was great, she was overwhelmed but still maintained a great level of service and pumped out well balanced drinks.

Lastly, if back in the area i will probably skip this restaurant to try others.

only open 4 HOURS A DAY?!??! Never open for lunch. Limited menu options. They are more interested in adding locations and food trucks than this place on the island. What a shame. At least have a food truck out during the day for people to stop at and grab an empanada. Otherwise its just wasted space on the corner!
