We enjoyed a fantastic night of delicious food while celebrating a couple of birthdays. There were 10 of us at a very spacious round table that made for great conversation and food sharing. Lee did an amazing job guiding us all through our first visit. This will not be our last family dinner at Delaney’s. Thanks again!!

Without being too harsh, I am still leaving 4 stars because this food is absolutely delicious. But as far as a fine dining experience, Delaneys let me down a bit. Our dinner ended on a positive note, thankfully, but it started out kind of rough. We had a party of 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids). They sat us at the worst table in the restaurant, where waiters and bathroom goers continuously rushed by. No worries - this wouldn’t have ruined the night. We made a small comment about wishing we had a different table and were snapped at by the host who seemed to despise children. The waiter nearly threw the wine list at my father, basically dropping it over his shoulder onto the plate. I looked around at the bare walls, low ceilings, and dirty tile stairs and compared it to the menu prices. I brought one of my best dinner dresses for this particular night. Our night didn’t begin to turn around, treatment wise, until WE ordered a bottle of Caymus - meaning the turn around of the night was based solely on our action, not Delaneys. What’s more? It felt like we were being judged solely by the money we spent. I’d hate to come here as a vegetarian or someone who doesn’t drink. We drank our good wine and ate the delicious food and got our moneys worth. But maybe wear red if you come here so they don’t treat you like dog poop. We ate at Georgia Sea Grill and price points, service, and food quality was by far the best fine dining experience on the island.

By far, this was the best dining experience I've had. Every aspect of the meal was flawless, from the baked goat cheese and escargot to the mixed grill, bone-in ribeye, and chocolate cake – each dish was incredible. This meal stands out as one of my favorites, a true fine dining experience.

Most meticulous food menu and preparation on island. If I have can have one meal on SSI, it will also be Delaneys!

It would be nice if they'd answer the phone so I could make a reservation! Three attempts today, no answer, multiple rings! 4.8, really??

U don't have time to answer the phone however you have time to respond in social media. In this post pandemic world where a simple salad is $18 & many places are now demanding a service fee for credit card users (during the pandemic no one want to accept cash for any transaction) your excuses for allowing you phone to ring off the hook without answering are feeble. We will be on St Simons next weekend, we will not be visiting your establishment!

Disappointed as did not meet expectations based on other reviews. Decor & seating was average, but the atmosphere was ruined by the extreme volume... the place is VERY loud. We reserved the booth hoping that would help but it did not. Departed in need of tylenol!
Numerous specials are offered which expands your choice, but at a high cost. Appetizer of Shrimp wrapped in bacon was $19 for 4 standard sized shrimp; not worth it. The fresh fish special was enjoyed (the fish), but served with lukewarm rice and overcooked green beans at $46. Wife enjoyed the Scallops. Creme brulee was nice but small portion.
No issues with the service; our waiter was good.
Better experience and value found elsewhere such as Woodside or Halyards.

We were up here on vacation from South Florida and man oh man was this place just great. The food; elk, steak etc was unbelievable and KK’s service was world class. We’ll definitely be back when in town.

There is nothing to be improved on here. Everything was delicious. Every course was wonderful. I had drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert and was not disappointed. This is a place I will definitely make a point to visit again. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgable service. Every question I had about the menu and drink selections were immediately answered by my server/bartender Mike. This was my favorite experience in this area to date.

Excellent service. The yellow fin tuna appetizer was great. The best advice from our waiter was just wait for the specials. There were probably 25 specials and wow did they all sound great. A lot of people at our table enjoyed the elk chops, ostrich ribeye, and fish picatta.

We have been going to Delaneys since we moved to Brunswick 2 years ago they are by far the very best of the best for there food, wine and service my wife and I have standing reservations there once a month we come and have what We consider close to perfection when it comes to the menu and the special which are always changing if you have never been you are missing out on 5 star food, wines, and top notch serviceAsk for Lee and he will take care of everything

Top notch across the board. The only way this place could possibly let you down is if they don't have a table available.
