We had cocktails, kushiyaki, and the shaved brussels sprout salad. Everything was really tasty. The steak and shrimp were cooked really nicely. The charcoal flavor was a little too heavy on the shrimp.

Dorothys was a beautiful and unique dining experience. The atmosphere and decor is gorgeous. The food was amazing and all of the guest in my party talked about the flavors the rest of the evening.

Wonderful food, well presented. We started with a Brussel Sprout salad which was light and tasty. Followed by a tasty and spicy octopus appetizer which was superb. Quite a delightful. My wife had Short Rib which she said was the best she had even eaten. I had the baked fish special,outstanding. Spicy with an East Asian feel. Having lived in the NYC area for 50 years I know great food and Dorothy's could compete with the best Can't wait to return!!

expensive...$26.00 for the Ramen soup. Like all places they stick a tablet in front of you so you never rally get to check the bill... Our waiter Barnabas was excellent and attentive.
We were seated earlier than our reservations. Also, we were greeted by the chief and were offered two glasses of sparkling wine, that we accepted. After being seated at our table, the server greeted us with a smile and her service and menu (both wine and food) knowledge was outstanding. That said, we found nothing that will make us hesitate in making our decision to choose Dorthys for dinner again.

I was staying in town with my business partner and we were looking for some good seafood. Coastal Kitchen was closed for winter break (although this was not updated on google).I had heard good things about Dorothy's so we checked it out.Atmosphere:We went on a Tuesday night around 6 and had our option to sit at the bar or at a table. We chose to sit at a table and there was a nice ambiance.Drinks:I ordered a Athletic Brewing Upside Dawn (dry January for me) and my partner got theLord Grey from three taverns brewery. I loved the Upside Dawn- would definitely order again. Didn’t ask how the Lord Grey was but he drank the whole thing ?♂️Food:The seafood selection wasn't quite as broad as I'd expected. There was some good looking Asian fusion options. We asked the waiter if he preferred the burger or the miso ramen (it was a cold day so the ramen looked pretty darn good). He said it had cinnamon in it which kinda turned me off. We both got the burger and fries. It was a bada** smash burger with special sauce (thousand island based). My partner got it without the sauce and I feel sorry for him. To call the fries soggy might be harsh but they definitely weren't crispy.I wish I had gotten the Caesar salad with the jalapeno Caesar dressing. When I go back, I'll get this or the fish special.
My favorite spot on the island! Fabulous cocktails, innovative dishes, great service and ambience. My favorites are the salmon belly, cabbage rolls, chicken bites and fried rice. Don't miss the bread pudding a La mode, the best ever!!

Came for our anniversary and had a reservation but still had to wait for a table. The server was great & we were given a free glass of champagne. Thank you! Both of our meals were warm, not hot. I got ramen and my husband got a few other items. None of the food was hot. I ordered a cookie for dessert. It was burnt. I had hyped up this dining experience in my head and it fell flat.
