We have eaten here 3 times over last couple weeks. Service is very good, food outstanding, ambiance is very good and this is one of our fave restaurants in the St Simons area. Suggest reservations as a popular eating place.
We ate a salad, shareables and a pizza. All were delicious. The salad was excellent. The drumettes were slightly spicy and hot. Would definitely recommend.
We chose this place to have a nice dinner back in August, and we made the right choice. Every dish we had was incredible, and the decor and ambiance were perfection. We were lucky to have the entire back room to ourselves, which was really a shame, because this restaurant is so good it should always be packed. I hope to return the next time I find myself down on the island!

Jessica was a fabulous server along with tall fella, and they took great care of us. The food was tremendous as usual !!
Left after 45 minutes, because food service was soooo slow. The restaurant was about 2/3 full.
Wonderful piece of Mahi prepared perfectly roasted veggies and our service was incredible !
I enjoyed the tuna appetizer and the egg roll appetizer. There is a vegetarian entre which is quite nice, but I would say it is an acquired taste and somewhat eclectic. The atmosphere is romantic and cozy, although it is somewhat dark.
I would come back for the appetizers, although I'm not sure what entree I'd recommend.

A bit on the pricy side, but the atmosphere is perfect for any afternoon spent on the Island. The risotto was excellent. Scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection. The short rib was delightful and the steak was perfectly seasoned.

Our go to spot on the island- interesting preparations, locally sourced - all good. Our server- Mel- was very attentive and just a lovely lady. We'll be back
Ember is one of my favorite restaurants on Saint Simon's. The food is fresh , the dishes imaginative and consistently good. I frequently get three or four of the sharable plates to divide with friends. Count yourself lucky if Giancarlo is your waiter. He knows what you need before you even know yourself and does a great job of pacing the timing of dishes and drinks.
Service and food was fabulous. Love the ambience. We sat at the bar and truly enjoyed our visit. It was so good. We dined there twice in one week while on vacation from Cincinnati.
Our waiter Giancarlo, was so phenomenal and talked us through the entire menu with so much enthusiasm that we put ourselves in his hands. The pizza he suggested, would have both tzatziki and fresh cucumbers sprinkled over the top at the finish. Fearing an actual culinary Frankenstein coming on but feeling his gung-ho energy, we ordered everything he suggested and were transported to a version of food heaven. Our son and his girlfriend arrived to Sea Island last evening. I'm reserving our table again for tonight. Stoke the Ember (s) of your palette and see where it takes you....Thank you for caring so much about our food.
Always great food and love the atmosphere. We love the changing menu options and of course the pizza is delicious.
