Crab hush puppies were overcooked. Fish was great, but crab rice was seasonless & I requested rice w/crab within. Which I did receive. Service was excellent.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The hostess remember that it was our anniversary and gave us the choice of two tables. Our waiter was great. I spilt my water(sorry) and your whole staff helped to clean it up. We had the special preparation. I had the triple tale and my wife had the Cordova. Both were excellent. We had the pecan pie for desert which the waiter said was “on the house”. How sweet. You should be very proud of all the staff and the cooks. I will recommend your restaurant to our friends who come to the island from Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, and Jupiter. Word travels fast.... Thanks again for a memorable anniversary dinner.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. We made reservations for our anniversary on the recommendation of a friend and we are glad we did! We dressed each other for dinner and I think we may have been the talk of the restaurant! Our waiter was awesome and took our “glamour shots” pictures when we were finished with dinner. The food was amazing as well. We appreciated the signed anniversary card waiting at our table. All around wonderful service, atmosphere, and food!
Landon our waitress was a southern experience all by herself! Then the food came out and did not disappoint. Seriously, the following are best dishes I've ever had at any restaurant: Calamari, Fried Okra, Hush puppies and the crab soup. Best ever!
Our server, Linda, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the corn battered shrimp which are the best here in the Golden Isles. Great experience to celebrate 45 years of marriage!
Most elegant experience on Saint Simon and combine with fresh seafood is a delicious meal. Save room for coconut pie
It was our first time eating at Georgia Sea Grill and we were not disappointed. My partner and I throughly enjoyed our crab soup. My pan roasted Triple Tail was an excellent piece of fish and perfectly cooked. I particularly liked the andouille sausage and vegetable medley that was served with the fish. My partner decided on a wedge salad and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. This may have been our first visit, but it won't be our last.
The food was delicious and we had a great waitress name London . The best fish dishes on the Island!
Georgia Sea Grill has always been our go to for special occasions. When it came time to select a place for a rehearsal dinner for our youngest son and his bride, it was our first choice. Impeccable is a term often floated within the hospitality industry. GSG defines it in every way. Planning was seamless and completely stress free for us with no surprises. Service was above and beyond. Timing between courses was perfect. Guests including lifetime locals, new locals and those literally from sea to shining sea absolutely raved about the setting and menu selected. All needs and preferences were met. The food was, as always, fresh and prepared perfectly.
Our favorite restaurant on the island! We
Live here and like to bring visitors to GSG. The menu has something for everyone! The crab soup is delish. April is our fave bartender & server. Even with our local group of 8-10, she remembers most of our drunk choices. She’s always most congenial and makes our visit delightful!

Georgia Sea Grill is a must if you're looking for a fine dining option on SSI! The crab soup is AMAZING and the crab stuffed hushpuppies are so delicious. My husband and I eat here every year for our anniversary and we love it. Last time, I ordered the Shrimp and Grits for my main, and while it was good, I probably would have been satisfied eating the soup all night. Do not sleep on that soup! The service was great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend.
if you are ever in St. Simon's Island it's a MUST !!
Wow, great food, great locals, very friendly. Loved e erything.
Not what I expected
Service and atmosphere was nice, the food was disappointing. Strangest tasting crab cakes that I have ever tried, and I have eaten plenty. The Shrimp and grits were soup like, lacking grits and texture. The bacon poached Salmon bore no resemblance of the description. The smoked fish dip, and the wine were the only noticeable highlights.
