Halyards was the perfect place to celebrate Granna's birthday with the whole family. Thomas took great care of us and the food was top notch. The hogfish special, grouper, and fried chicken were all excellent. We loved it!

Halyards is one of our favorite restaurants. We've been dining here for years. This year the service was very slow. Our party of ten included 4 children...we got drinks right away, then bread service and appetizers took close to an hour to get. Our meals were exceptionally good.

We were seated at the bar at the same time as another couple. All of us ordered at the same time. The other couple's food arrived as did my side salad. After waiting 25 minutes for our entrees, we finally asked why our food had not come. Our bartender tried to get an answer from the kitchen; but they wouldn't give him an answer. The manager stepped in and our meals finally arrived. They didn't make excuses and comp'd our food. Being straight forward that the kitchen screwed up and not giving excuses is why we have given the restaurant 5 stars. The food was fantastic, and we can't wait for our next meal there.
Overall a wonderful second experience, Chris was an excellent server. Great customer skills! The drinks and food marvelous, we will be back!

Oyster app was delish, watermelon salad delish although a little too spicy. Flounder was dry, even hard to cut with fork. Succotash delish. Tuna ok, rice No flavor. Salmon good, quinoa no flavor. Lemon tart great. Chris our server was great.

Every year for the past 6 years we eat there for our anniversary and the food, the atmosphere and the service never disappoints! They gave us our favorite booth in the bar and our waitress was so attentive and made our experience very special. Our food as always was delicious and we can't wait to eat there again next year.
