The worst service. The barista sounded frustrated before she took our orders, so we left.
Second time with the same barista we’ve been disappointed.
Last time we will go here.

I always go for the Crackachino and add sugar to taste: it’s amazing! I’ve also tried several other drink options and all their pastries over time. Staff is warm and welcoming. Always been pleased and will continue returning!

This place was recommended by a local and the espresso drinks were just fine, not expensive. I'm mainly just posting this review to counter the ones saying the barista was grouchy. Not my experience. Having read the reviews I was bracing for I don't know what...but they were perfectly friendly.

Favorite coffee place of all. Started enjoying Jittery Joes in Athens GA. Have loved it ever since. Amazing coffee flavors. Wish they had a closer one around Atlanta.

Smoothie was excellent, barista today was rude to us from the start.

Staff was friendly and efficient. The flavored coffee that I had lacked any “flavor”. The owners need to provide staff with more flavorful options. I am not a Starbucks fan and love to support local businesses. Maybe I just hit on an off day.
nice coffee and a relaxing atmosphere

Low key coffee spot with a bookstore attached. Decent latte (nice and hot!), not pretentious with minimal food offering. The atmosphere was bright, clean and calm. They also offer some outdoor seating under a tree canopy. Nice place, very pleasant.
A hidden gem on SSI. Rarely a line and good coffee attached to a wonderful little bookstore. Even morning coffee runs are fast because many visitors are unaware since it’s not on the main drag. Excellent warm, flakey croissants baked onsite and other treats. Lots of flavor offerings, too. It’s become our go-to since no one wants to wait for their morning coffee. That said, if you go at 10am there may be a line but not early mornings in our experience. You can sit inside or outside there, too.
Loved the place! Don't be in a rush though, the line backs up. But it's worth the wait.

Coffee was fantastic, book store was cute, plenty of interesting things to see while walking the area, and it was an absolute relief to see a punk kid whipping up coffee in a sea of islandbound fancyfolk. Will be back again!
Great coffee!
One of the better coffee shops I've been to. The house coffee was perfect, no bitter bite which I absolutely hate. A shot of caramel, and I was good to go. They also have Dirty Chai Lattes if you're into that. If I hadn't needed coffee so badly, that would've been my 1st pick!
Best coffee on the island!
Super cute coffee/matcha spot! We ordered several drinks from chai, to matcha, to coffee, and everyone loved their choices!
The cafe is joined to a bookstore! Genius! And the cafe is decorated with posters from classic readings.
Everything was very clean and the lady who helped us was extremely friendly! When we visited the island again we are definitely coming back!
