Visited this restaurant during the holiday season. The food was not fresh and the meat was as good as rubber. The only thing that was good was the quesadilla. The food is not worth the price at all. Would not reccomend.

I order a kids meal online and had to wait a hour and 5 min, why? A quesadilla takes that long?

The best steak in a quesadilla that I have ever had. The staff was nice, and the wait was normal. This was a surprisingly good choice to eat on St Simon's!

The food was decent but not happy that they charged us extra for the salsa. I thought it just came with the chips. Be careful with all the add on charges for little requests.

Food was ok, service was terrible. We were at the restaurant for around an hour and never had our drinks topped off or refilled. The server was at the table maybe three times in total with almost no one in the restaurant. Also a side note, I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that charged for chips and salsa. Definitely an avoid.

This past Tuesday I had the most horrible Mexican meal ever at La Plancha in the form of what they called a fish chimichanga. I was immediately aghast when I saw the balloon shaped monstrosity brought to my table. It in no way resembled a food dish. It tasted poorly from the very first bite. I could only force down a quarter of it and brought the rest home to see if it was any good reheated...it was worse and had me ill throughout the night. The fish had to be food poison variety. The salsa for the chips was about as bad as well. I would not recommend this below Taco Bell quality establishment to anyone.

Me & my family stopped in for a late dinner. The fresh tortillas and salsa were top teir. The hefty burritos were excellent, according to my wife & son ( she had grilled shrimp, he had grilled chicken). I had the beef Macho Nachos (whole). Unfortunately, I did not finish them because I did not have four other grown men with me to take a shift. This dish was MASSIVE! The half size is more than enough. It was excellent, however; Good flavors. The watermelon margarita was a standout drink, while the house margarita was a bit salty - even with no salt on the rim (I blame the Altos tequila). La Plancha is definitely worth a try.

Well, there is always a first time for everything.... A Mexican restaurant out of queso, oh boy. Fortunately, option B, Elotes, was decent. The food and service were good. My group ordered Elotes (Appetizer), Chicken Quesadilla, Mahi Mahi tacos and Short Rib tacos. Food portions were plentifully and costs are comparable to other Mexican inspired eateries. Plenty of free parking located in shopping plaza.

1st time guest and definitely not our last visit. Ryan was an excellent… vibrant…smiling server who was present when needed and knew her menu. What a great vibe in a small space..very energizing. Food was incredible..short rib tamale was perfectly cooked and so tender. My wife’s chix fajitas were presented on a beautifully arranged plate and the chix was well seasoned and devoured. Being from out of town we are so pleased to have tripped on this restaurant!!

Excellent Margarita menu. Standard Mexican fair (tacos, burritos, fajitas, etc.) Delicious and generous portions. Busy on a Tuesday night, if that gives you an indication as to how good this place is. Service was good, with staff covering both indoor and outdoor nothing took too long to get. Moderately priced.
