We are regulars here and are always treated like family. This is one of the very few remaining restaurants that can still boast the trifecta of exceptional service, delicious food, and prices that are in appropriate relation to the quality of food.We also usually have our toddler with us, and the staff go above and beyond to accommodate families with young children. Small Mexican restaurant near Sea Palms neighborhood. Large selection of margaritas and different tequilas. Ordered three tacos with rice and beans. Chicken was moist and seasoned well. Pork taco with pineapple was great sweet and savory. Shrimp had a fair amount of shrimp. Great server and host. A lot of locals, good vibe. Will go back.

Got take out one night - staying at Sea Island and family had just played 36 holes of golf so we wanted a dinner at the house. Very generous portions and reasonable prices. Son got the large nachos and it could have fed 2-3 people. Rest of us had burrito bowls which we enjoyed. Chips and salsa were very good.

Food-10+ Service-10+ Ambiance-10+ We finally walked into La Plancha and we were mesmerized by the menu!b Maddie greeted us and gave us stellar recommendations!! We went with the chimichanga stuffed with short rib and then the loaded nachos with Mahi!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! Deliciousness at another level!! Steven introduced himself and made our visit even more special!! A great taste of sopapillas! If you have not stopped by DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND COME AND EAT!! Also they have a ton of margaritas!! Y'all it was scrumptious!!

I travel somewhat regularly to Saint Simons Island for work, and we typically eat here at least once per visit. Everything I have had off the menu has been delicious, and there is a nice rotation of specials to provide new things to try. The staff have always been top notch. The atmosphere is great, though I would say the only draw backs is it can definitely get packed on some nights—not surprising considering how good the food is—, and if you decide to sit outdoors during certain times of the year you may have to deal with mosquitoes or other bugs. Parking can also be a little hectic at times.

Friendly service and wonderful food. I had the best quesadilla I have ever had. It was a veggie quesadilla and had sweet potatoes, which I love, included with other veggies. It was delicious. We will definitely eat here again when we return to SSI.

First time here and what a great lunch meal. We had the quesadillas, pork and chicken plate. Comes with rice and beans, salad and extras. Perfectly cooked with roasted peppers and onions, the rice and black beans were also perfect. Well presented, served hot with incredible friendly service. We sat outside but inside was very nice. Prices fair. This was probably the best quesadilla I’ve ever had, as well as the rice and beans. A big thanks for the friendly service and a nice lunch.

Was looking for a good Mexican restaurant for dinner a Thursday (October 12th.) La Plancha, was recommended. We arrived at 6:22 PM and were warmly greeted by our waiter Terran. We told Terran that this was our first time in the restaurant and for his recommendations. Per Terrans recommendations we started out with 2 La Plancha Rita's margaritas. Both margaritas were excellent. We also ordered a small Guacamole & chips. The small was large enough to share. For dinner we ordered 1chicken & 1 short rib fajitas. Both large enough to share and enough left over for a late night snack. Big shout out to Terran for his spot on recommendations. We will definitely be coming back!
