If you want the best service, from the oldest bar on the island, come visit. Grants Washington apples are spectacular, If you’re in for a day drink, come visit Caleb and talk about music and movies. I would give more than 5 stars if I could….. Damion on weekends killing it!!

My husband and I stopped in for a cocktail. It is a local bar that allows smoking. Met a bunch of great locals. Played pool and had a great time. The bartenders Caleb and Grant were awesome! Good cocktails, too. It was just what we were looking for. Nothing fancy, just good local yokels! Thanks for letting us share in the retirement party! The food was excellent. We will be back! Thanks for a great time!!

Always Ask For (Grant),, Voted One of the best Mixologists in The State of Georgia. This Guy is a true Talented Genius when it comes to making your favorite cocktail. Grant will Mesmerize you, Not Only with his brilliant knowledge of always creating the perfect drink,,, But on the Pool Table,, (Grant will run a pool table within 4 minutes). The Best I've Ever Seen.. A True Mentor For Everyone.

While walking downtown waterfront shops, we wanted to get a beer and watch football. Nice dive bar that allows smoking (we don't) you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Bartender was nice and spot on with our beers. Have pool tables and darts to play, left after one beer. We couldn't handle the smoke smell.

Was in town for a few days and hit this place up each day. This is exactly what a dive bar should be. The bartenders are all cool and friendly and the regulars as well. Both the staff and regulars made me fe at home. Can't recommend enough
My friend and I found Murphy's Tavern while on an afternoon/ day trip to St. Simon's Island yesterday. We had a great time. Kaleb and Grant treated us great. We shot a couple of rounds of billiards. We will definitely go back next time we go to the coast.

My husband and I had a ton of fun at Murphy’s last Thursday night. Damien took great care of us at the bar. He was so friendly and had a great sense of humor. We loved the feel of the place and the folks there were as nice as can be. I highly recommend grabbing a pint…cheers!

Their regular “Raymond” robbed me and ran out the door, then returned to physically attack me. The bartender Grant ignored the situation and rolled his eyes, still charged me for my beer. At least the door guy TRIED to help. Absolutely heinous place, don’t go here unless you already do.
