My wife and I were visiting the Golden Isles for a weekend getaway and ended up at the St Simons Island Pier district come lunch time. We saw the Sandcastle and it looked quaint, so we signed in for lunch, After a short wait we had a Shrimp po boy and and open faced ham and swiss, and both were delicious. It was enhanced by a spicy house bloody Mary (good for virus disinfectant). The service was friendly and efficient. Excellent location to walk up and down the pier area too.

This is my breakfast place of choice whenever visiting SSI. The crab cake bennies literally haunted my dreams until I went back and had them again. Paired with chocolate chip pancakes and that meal takes care of any craving you could ever think of. Location is awesome, and I love sitting outside and people-watching.

We did the breakfast buffet. It was superb. Also the location was near the pier, which meant that it was less busy Sunday morning than other breakfast spots up the street. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Undercooked (raw) potatoes. Over cooked and solidified poached eggs. Drinks never delivered then complained to me about complaining for service and food quality that they were understaffed and wouldn't even offer a discount or an apology on 5 meals that weren't eaten.asked for a manager and they told me they didn't come in today. Just a rough scenario for an expensive meal that wasn't touched and was refused to do anything about as they were short staffed and that is how they cook their food.

The best breakfast in St Simons if not in the state of Georgia. Everything is delicious but the corned beef hash and hash browns are the bomb. We go here every morning we’re on the island.

We enjoyed a breakfast as soon as they opened. The breakfast buffet had several options and was kept stocked consistently. My coffee cup never got half empty, staff did a great job ensuring we had what we needed. Food was very good.

Just waited 30 minutes and made eye contact with 3 separate employees while we weren't a waited on at all. Really strange experience since both tables next to me were being waited on.

What a great spot for lunch! They’re open for breakfast as well and I am sure it’s amazing too, but we haven’t been for breakfast or brunch yet. The sandwiches are a great size and I especially love the flounder sandwich (fried) and the sandcastle chick. They are fantastic!!! My wife had the salmon salad and she loved it both times! Ask about the grilled blueberry muffin!!!
