Food is amazing here, the line is always long but that’s because the food is so good and everyone knows it. Not much of a sitting area which would be a big help while waiting but we always look forward to going to Sandy Bottom Bagels!
The employees and ambiance were great. But man, that food was absolutely awful. I got a (emphasized to employee) *toasted* Asiago bagel with chive cream cheese, a hashbrown and cheese grits. The bagel was not toasted at all. It was soooooo dense and cold. Not toasting a bagel is just depressing, especially when they are not fresh. Plus, there was not one spec of Asiago on the bagel, it looked completely plain on the top. The hashbrown was not cooked all the way and flopped in...
This use to be great place to get lunch but now days the kids they hire are indifferent to customers.
I ordered a tuna sandwich on a bagel. It was nothing to write home about and was dry. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing .
