Poor service, mediocre food, 5 Starr prices, “out of†5 menu items including Vanilla Ice Cream. Limited value. Best to spend your money elsewhere.
Just left after celebrating a family member's birthday and everyone in our group was disappointed. The service was the worst many of us had in years and the food was underwhelming. Our server apologized at one point and stated the kitchen was backed up—there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant and no one at the bar. Many of the employees, including our server seemed like they had just started and never worked in food service before. Our server even told us she had to run to the store to buy crackers for the soup several people at our table had ordered. We spent almost three hours at the restaurant, some of our group had to leave to get babies home while we continued to wait for the check.
The food was excellent!! However when you pay those prices you expect service. The service was terrible! Obviously understaffed. No designated bartender in a Bourbon bar?? This was our second trip and the service was the same both times. 😒 I am not sure we will go for three??
Chef Joe's specials are awesome!
Amazing food and service. The drinks weren't the best. I ordered a margarita. It tasted like lemon and lime water and I'm not much of a drinker. Go for the food and great fast service.
Our waitress, Candace, was extremely nice and made our experience at Sapelo Crow 10x better. She had so much on her hands between both bartending and the floor, she never failed to check on us and keep up with us while being extremely sweet. On top of that by far the best filet I've ever had in my life. They are newly open, and I highly recommend. Thank you, Sapelo Crow and Candace, for making my birthday so awesome! :)
Waiters are polite and the Steaks are great! The menu states they have oysters but when we got into the restaurant they did not have oysters he stated "we aren't doing oysters". The online menu and the restaurant menu said they had them but the waiter stated that they did not. If you want oysters do not go to Sapelo Crow.
Food was amazing! Burger is messy, though. Service was so-so. Highly recommend.
We were actually going to Outback steak house according to the GPS. But, it was no longer there....so we ate crow, lol. The appetizer (fried green tomatoes) was not that great. They had no flavor like the ones we are use to eating. Wasn't impressed with them, but we ate them. I had a burger & fries & hubby had chicken sandwich with fries. The meal was good but it wasn't $45 good, for sandwiches & fries.
Everything was delicious & service was excellent! Duck fries & Brussel Sprouts were my favorite. We will go back very soon.

Generous drinks. Food underwhelming. Potential but SSI has a lot of excellent restsurants. Wish them well
We had a great experience! Our server was friendly and fast and the food was excellent!
Best pork chop I've ever had! It's huge. My wife loved the fried shrimp, and there was good banter at the bar. The craft beer list was really interesting: the bourbon selection world class. It's a fun place with plenty of booths and about 20 seats around the large bar. We met some really interesting people here.
I had the grilled salmon. Best fish dish that I've had in a long time. Nice crust outside; juicy inside with delicious sauce and wild rice. I usually have some left for takeout box but I ate every last grain of rice and mopped up the sauce.
First time visiting since it was an Outback. They kept alot of the Outback look and modified it to the new brand. We tried the cucumber roll salad, crab soup and the burger with fries. They were all good. The cucumber salad was hearty and I liked the rolled cucumber shaving, making the appeal high. That was probably the best of the three. The crab soup had a really great taste and texture, just thought there would be more actual crab meat in it. The burger was on par with comparable sit down mid level restaurants, good, big and tasty. At $13 that seemed priced right for that level of restaurant. Overall we were pleased with the food. Jonathan our server was good at his job and witty as well, making us laugh a few times. The place, a Friday night at 6 PM, seemed empty, I had expected having to wait 20min + for a table.
