If you are out of an item it shouldn’t be available online, nor should you confirm the order.

Better off getting cookies from the grocery store bakery, instead of overpaying for this place, if they even have them in stock.

We bought three cakes in the three months they were staying at St Simon’s ( for birthday and graduation). The staff were nice. They listened and created exactly what we needed!! Everyone bragged in how great the cakes tasted!!!

We walked into cupcake paradise! The display was overflowing with options— everything from classic favorites to creative, one of a kind flavors. My husband couldn’t decide (can you blame him?), so we went with the mini cupcake sampler pack—and wow, every single one was delicious!

My favorite was the carrot cake, while my husband was obsessed with the chocoholic. The whole experience was so fun, we ended up sampling a bite of every cupcake 😄

Ashley, the owner, was incredibly warm and helpful, making the visit even more special. We only wish we were locals so we could come back all the time. If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss this place!

SO disappointed for wedding cupcakes that were ordered timely and for which were paid with multiple emails for arrangements made for delivery to wedding venue delivery of which did NOT happen. Depended upon a business to have a reminder system both technical and, perhaps on a delivery board. A refund was made but.....irresponsible for a business and very disappointing for this special occasion.

I asked for a very simple “Happy Birthday” cake for my dear husband. I will let my pictures do the talking, as I couldn’t be more disappointed. The first picture is what I initially picked up and I turned around so fast hoping they could do something to fix the cake. I asked for them to at least fix the writing to be larger and make the cake look happy… even an exclamation mark would have added something! The writing is beyond unprofessional and for a $47 cake, quite pathetic. The second and third pictures are what I then went and “re” picked up later. I could cry, it’s the saddest Birthday cake I’ve ever seen. The only saving grace is that it did taste yummy. We got a strawberry cake with lemon filling and cream cheese frosting. Unfortunately the cake is not what I would have liked to pay for. The only explanation I got in reference to the decor was “oh she’s learning” and sadly had to be my husband’s cake she’s “learning” on. Cupcakes are great but do not order any custom cake.

On October 17, 2024 I got married and Smallcakes made my wedding cake and it was wonderful!! It was beautiful, delicious and made to order!! (gluten free and no nuts due to family allergies!) Thank you Ashley for the amazing job you did creating my cake!! Even now after the wedding my guests continue to ask me where I got it and I am delighted to recommend you and the Smallcakes team!! Visiting the island and wanted a birthday cake for our granddaughter who was turning 22. I showed the girl the picture and she assured me she could do it. Well, what I picked up was nothing like the picture. Was very disappointed with the way it looked and cake was very dense. Not only that, but the writing was suppose to be on the board. She said she wasn’t very good at writing, so she wrote Happy Birthday on the box the cake came in. Will NOT be returning.

We spotted this bakery as we were driving past yesterday, and I think I just had the best cupcake of my life! I forget the name, but it was chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, with vanilla cream inside and a vanilla squiggle on top. So moist and rich and flavorful! What an amazing surprise!
