In an effort to goose profits, and eventually automate the barrister’s job, they are trying a single-cup brew machine that cranks out an off-tasting cup of joe. When I asked about the coffee, the only solution offered was an espresso. I have been drinking rich black coffee from SB for 30 years, and, sad to say, it may be time to move on.
They were about to close when we visited tonight and I 100% was ready to leave the island without a hot cup of coffee and to my surprise we were treated with smiling friendly faces and delicious fresh coffee. #tybeeisland
I recently stopped by this location during a day trip to St Simon's Island. The store is one of the cleanest and most organized Starbucks I have ever visited. The music was at the perfect volume, and not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. The cashier who took my order, Samantha, was friendly and engaging with me and other customers as well.
