Very rude... First off... TRY to at least APPEAR open. Secondly, if people are parking in your parking lot, (Again, because you look closed) don't immediately chase them off saying it's private property. Maybe stop people with a bit more professionalism and try to make a customer out of people who regularly visit, as they have rental property in the area. "This is private property and you're welcome to park here if you choose to eat here. What will it take to make you decide to dine with us this evening?" Easy. Professional. Not rude and off-putting. As I stated in the parking lot, you are hurting your business by standing outside yelling private property. You'll have all the privacy you want with your rude approach. Us and others you chased off were talking about your rude approach at one of your competitors down the street. And remember, we understand that you need that parking for your customers, but let's recap... You look closed. You are rude. Thank you!
I recently hosted a surprise Anniversary party for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Nest! The staff was incredible with the service, and the food was superb! The feedback as a whole, was it was some of the best steak we've ever had. Thanks to everyone for working with me on this special event. I look forward to many more events with you.

First time here and wow was it amazing. Excellent atmosphere professionally done but relaxed. Our server Hannah was super friendly and professional with perfect recommendations on wine and appetizers. But the food…5 star. Perfectly cooked and the depth of flavor of each of the four appetizers was amazing. Our drinks very well done from the friendly bartender and incredibly designed bar that adds well to the atmosphere. We chose to sit inside but outside seating looks great as well. What a jewel for Saint Simon’s Island. A big thanks for a wonderful evening!

I celebrated my birthday at The Nest on a Monday evening. I was greeted by a birthday card signed by the staff. Service was excellent from start to finish. The small, cozy restaurant space wasn't crowded, so it was relatively quiet. Our group of five all ordered something different from the wide-ranging, creative fusion menu. There were lots of offerings that could have been shared as either tapas or as a single-serving meal. Every person at the table rated their dish as excellent. The ingredients were mostly sourced from local farms. The desserts were also delicious. The menu is considerate to all dining restrictions, including many gluten free options. Prices were very reasonable! The Nest is my new favorite SSI restaurant.

The atmosphere when you first walk in was inviting, food was incredible, drinks were super delicious but Rain, the bartender was AMAZING!!! She made the whole experience! We were also impressed with the general manager, very willing to help his team. You don’t see that often. We are tourists but we WILL be back because of this place. Thank you!!
