Don't trust the hours published online or shown on Google. V pizza closes when they want to and refuses to seat people at times prior to their made up closing times.
If you want to have dinner, go elsewhere.
Was over charged for my food. Got two pizzas and a calzone. Should have cost just under $50. It was $67. Couldn’t understand the fact that I was disputing the charge. Won’t go back
This WAS my favorite pizza place-doesn’t taste the same anymore-came on our last vacation- ( we come to SSI often )an then again this summer but was disappointed-it use to taste like true Italian pizza -was told they at one time used authentic Italian products--but not anymore-!! Red sauce and cheese had very little flavor-just not at all like it use to be—!! So sorry but will go somewhere else next time!
Our service was not great. Seemed very disorganized. The food was okay to not good. I wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone.
Nothing like walking in & them telling you we are out of everything. Especially on a holiday weekend but it felt more like didn’t want to serve you. No the restaurant was not full.
So good every time.
This used to be our favorite pizza place but the last few times have been awful. I’m not sure if it’s under new ownership or not. Pizzas are not what we ordered with customizations, quality has gone down and doesn’t taste authentic anymore. $70 for 2 pizzas, a kids meal and salad, all of which we barely ate any of. Sorry to say we will have to find another favorite location.
Place was great a couple years ago. Last few times we’ve been recently the food and service has been terrible, I have no idea how the place is still up and running. The place is being ran by a bunch of people that don’t care and have no idea what they are doing. Such a shame. Much better pizza/restaurants on the island. Stay clear of this place.
Ordered To-Go, excellent pizzas!
Horrible. If I wanted to self serve I'd stayed home. Pizza was dry and tasteless. Want a refill on your drink? Get up and ask for it.

When you want a Napoli style pizza , this is your place! Soooo good! I took a star away because while I realize that these pizzas are softer in the middle... my crust was wet on the bottom in the center. It may have had something to do with my toppings. It still tasted great. They are doing their salad differently now with huge leaves of spinach. I'd like to see a chopped italian salad on the menu!
Unbelievable experience for a V Family battling cancer. Worst experience in a restaurant. Stick to Florida locations.

Ordered delivery of sandwiches. The pancetta with mozz and tomato. My son ordered a different sandwich and it was substituted. Delivery time was good, but sandwiches were dry. I was surprised we didn't rate a pickle of some chips with the sandwich. In fairness, they didn't say we would get them but most places add at least a pickle. I think we would give this place one more try.

This was a late nite decision after we were too tired from traveling to go anywhere. They had started cleaning and breaking down, but were helpful and eager to assist. We were very pleasantly surprised. I had not expected the food to be anywhere as good as it was. The meatballs were the highlight, and this definitely did not taste like it came from a pizza joint.

A Disappointing Lack of Customer Service and Engagement
Rating: ★★☆☆☆
Visited: 07/23/2024 Time: early evening
I recently visited V Pizza with high hopes for a pleasant family dining experience. Unfortunately, what I encountered was far from satisfactory, primarily due to the complete lack of customer service and engagement.
First Impressions: We arrived right when the restaurant opened, We were expecting prompt service and a warm welcome. Instead, we were met with an uninviting feeling. We had never been to V’s. We waited for an employee to welcome us. When a staff member did finally arrive, they were carrying Starbucks drinks from next door and seemed annoyed at having to be interrupted. Absolutely, no smile or comments of any kind. We were the second customers to arrive. The place was basically empty.
Service: The entire experience was marked by zero interaction. After placing our order with a young lady that said “is that all” after each item ordered, there was no further engagement from the staff. We weren't given any guidance on how their system worked, leaving us confused about whether we needed to collect our food/ drinks, wait for it to be served, or if it would be brought to our table. Despite there being four visible employees, none of them made any effort to engage with us or offer assistance. They had their backs to us and remained talking to each other until we exited.
Food: The food itself was average. While it was not particularly memorable, it wasn't bad either. However, the lack of customer service overshadowed the meal, making it difficult to fully enjoy the food.
Suggestions for Improvement:
1. Clear Instructions: Provide clear information about how the ordering and service process works. A little bit of conversation goes a long way. This area is a vacation spot. Many are visitors.
2. Welcoming Attitude: Train staff to be more welcoming and attentive. Customers should feel valued from the moment they step in.
3. Engagement: Encourage employees to check in with customers occasionally to see if they need anything or have any questions. This can greatly enhance the dining experience.
4. Staff Availability: Ensure that staff are ready to serve customers. Consider incentives for waitstaff that provide excellent service.
In summary, while the food at V Pizza was passable, the lack of customer service and engagement was a significant drawback. With some improvements in these areas, the restaurant could provide a much better dining experience. Until then, St. Simons has many other options.
