We stopped by for coffee before heading to Shell Island Resort at Wrightsville Beach, N.C. Very friendly staff. We got delicious coffee for our road trip.

One of the best pumpkin lattes I've had, better than Starbucks or dunkin hands down, fresh creamy and hot, and not too sweet.

I can’t visit St. Simons Island without stopping by Wake Up Coffee Company several times during my stay. They offer a well-rounded selection of hot and cold coffee drinks, along with a small but excellent assortment of bakery items. The scones, muffins, and power balls are all top-notch.

Yes, it’s a little pricey — but most good coffee shops are these days. It’s absolutely worth it.

The coffee was very good. We also tried an apple cinnamon scone and pumpkin bread which were delicious. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because if you want a coffee refill you have to stand in the long line…should have a better way. Nice atmosphere!

Every day at around 7:30 AM - my mom and I would go and get a cappuccino and a drip coffee with hazelnut. Then sometime during the day, me, my wife and 2 kids would go back. We would get their scones - baked on premise and absolutely delightful and an extra hot turtle mocha - delightful treat. We also had breakfast here one day with bagels and avacado toast. Their pumpkin pie bar and the pumpkin loaf are yummy and the no-bake protein bar is also quite tasty. Fantastic cheerful service too. Our go to every time we are on the island

If I had to recommend any one of their delicious coffees, I would say a dirty chai latte (double shots)

Not the best. We liked that they had house made oat milk but the staff was unfriendly and the coffee was ok. They also barely rinse their shakers/ milk steaming cups/ etc in between dairy and nondairy orders so if you have an allergy I’d be weary. We ordered two oat milk lattes, went to the bathroom and when we came out the barista was on her phone then saw me, and said “starting on yours now” then started to make our drinks. She handed them to me and said here are your quads. I asked how many shots were in that she said 4 and my husband told her that’s not what we ordered. The manager and barista said I grabbed the wrong drinks and began to blame me but the drinks were handed to me and no one else was waiting for drinks. Overall, not a wonderful experience.

Staying at Jekyll for the weekend and while visiting Saint Simon spotted the coffee shop and decided we’d give it a try- I had a small hot Sea turtle, my daughter had an iced honey lavender. My daughter thought the flavors were too sweet and hid the flavor of the coffee. Overall it was fine. Don’t take my word for it; try it for yourself.
