They did a great job with the space, the back deck has relaxing view. The food was good but not spectacular. We had two varieties for raw oysters which were good. I had blackened mahi over a Creole style risotto. The fish was overcooked, the risotto was delicious. One of the people in my party ordered a filet and I am 99% sure she received an over cooked sirloin. Our server was all business and didn't bring much personality to our dinner experience. I would go back for a 2nd visit. It would not be my top pick when I have limited time on the island. I would recommend people check it out and form their own opinion.

Boiled shrimp were great. Low country butter dip was to die for. Oysters plump and fresh. Tomato soup was outstanding , full of flavor and veggies. Fries in unusual shape but perfectly seasoned. Slow time for restaurant but service was attentive. Recommend.

We come down to St. Simons several times a year and frequently make Wolf Island Oyster Company a part of our eating out schedule. We Love the laid back atmosphere combined with good food and experience . Last night I had the Caesar Salad with Salmon and my wife had the Pasta with Shrimp. I'd recommend both. Actually, I'd recommend anything off the menu as I feel we've sampled most everything. Service is attentive without being overbearing. When the weather warms up, they have great outdoor dining as well.

Service was a little slow, but the food was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy. The pork loin in the dish was perfectly cooked and a great addition.

We loved eating lunch here. The deck is fantastic and food was great. We started with Tuna nachos and all loved them. It is a small portion ( there were 5 of us) but would definitely recommend them. Then had the burger which was really good. We will return when we are in the area next.

We’ve eaten here several times for dinner and it was great. Brunch, however, is a completely different story. My husband’s chicken came out completely raw on the inside, but the second piece they brought out was covered in so much gravy it was hard to tell if it was fully cooked too. Mother in law asked for a well done fried egg, but it was cooked over easy. My drink had something floating in it, and half of my nephew’s order was forgotten. The waitress was very nice and accommodating, but the meal itself was disappointing. Will not be coming back or recommending for brunch.

Food was great! Oysters were delicious! It was crowded so service was just a tad slow but adequate.

Had an amazing evening with outstanding food and service by Lorna. She is a true gem and made our experience unforgettable! Oysters were delicious and fresh and shrimp and grits; as well as Tuna and risotto were one of the best we've ever tasted. Don't look any further for a fabulous dinner and experience! Tell Lorna the fun couple from AZ says hi!!

All of the food was amazing and very reasonable prices considering the quality. We had the low country oysters, shrimp and grits, and fish tacos. Everything was really good but the low country oysters were probably our favorite. Service and atmosphere were both great as well. Overall, this place was better than expected and we would highly recommend it if you're looking for good food and value.

Menu has a good variety of choices. Most of our food was prepared well, except the scallops were undercooked. The main negative is the service was very slow - they did not seem to have enough servers.

We had the BBQ oysters, the Low Country oysters and the Garlic and Parmesan oysters and they were outstanding. We normally don’t go to this side of the island and did not even know this was there. The place we usually eat was not open lunch. This place is a treasure! The server was very slow and they were not at all busy, but the food more than made up for her inattentiveness. We had to flag her down for everything.I highly recommend Wolf Island for quite possibly the best oysters I have ever eaten. Amazing!!
