Aldo's Italian Restaurant

Went to Aldo’s today and really enjoyed my experience there. Servers were nice, friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the upscale atmosphere. The food was delicious, very flavorful, and fresh.

We were only one in restaurant. From 5 to 6..on a Sunday. No atmosphere what so ever. Food was OK with exception of rolls. They were great.

I just had an excellent meal at Aldo's. The Shrimp Francese was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I will be returning, and I highly recommend!

Aldo’s is a good Italian restaurant in Sandy Springs. We love Aldo’s Chicken Romano!! We tried a few different dishes but we always go back to Romano. They have white tablecloth but not so formal. Their service is amazing with very tentative servers. They have the same menu throughout the year so it’s great if you want to stick to what you like. Entrees come with salad and rolls.

We were craving Italian so we stopped in on a whim. A little concerned that it wasn't crowded on a Saturday night but gave it try anyway. 2 entrees that included a salad and bread, and a bottle of wine for $63 seemed incredibly fair. The waiter has ZERO personality but the food came quickly and tasted amazing. More than enough to take home. I realize this place has been here for years...with some brighter customer service and a little decor refresh, they would do better!

We were the only people in the whole restaurant. The food was not good quality Italian, It was very bland. The waiter was very kind. However we were given the wrong order and the server willingly took it off the bill. But the owner came out and was extremely rude and added back to our bill. He brought out the wrong item boxed up and insisted we took the food and put it back on the bill. And brought out on of the ingredients from the kitchen to prove to us it was what we ordered and shoved it in our faces and we noticed it was expired. Will not be going back there.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The owner and his wife (who’s in the kitchen) clearly pour their hearts into every detail.

We enjoyed two bottles of red wine, incredible mussels and crab cakes, and outstanding entrees—crab-stuffed shrimp and shrimp scampi that were rich, fresh, and full of flavor. Dessert was just as memorable: airy tiramisu and perfectly torched crème brûlée.

The warm, personal atmosphere made the night extra special, especially for our 8-year-old son, who was treated like a VIP. This isn’t just a meal—it’s a heartfelt, authentic experience. We can’t wait to come back

Amazing food. A little pricey but worth it. The cheapest meals are around $20 in 2025, and are absolutely worth the cost.

I repeatedly get the eggplant parmesan, it's to die for. The marinara sauce is magic, I don't normally like marinara but I could eat this every day. Those with me loved the lasagna too.

I was the only person there at 5:45 on a Friday evening. Friendly staff, I only saw one gentleman. I ordered the mozzarella appetizer. It was okay. Kind of bland tasting, the marinara on it was good though. The salad would have been fantastic but had way too much pepper. The bread tasted fresh and had good flavor with the butter and garlic. My main course of the chicken francese was very good but the pasta was undercooked.
