Taylor took great care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the Giorgio salad (obsessed about making it at home), the Hellboy pizza (extra peppers) and the Shan City wings. All delcioius, and prepared just as the menu described and to our specifications. Great place for the family or for a biz lunch. I imagine it's PACKED with locals on any given Friday or Saturday evening. Sunday late lunch time was quiet enough to enjoy the great playlist and have a decent convo. TVs broadcasting football. Good, chill vibe. GREAT pizza dough. Will look forward to returning!“

“So the restaurant is open on a limited basis from Thursday to Saturday as of this date. But room service is available for guests at the malfunction prone Embassy Suites on 17th street. I called for room service during dinner rush. About 20 minutes later there’s a knock on the door - it’s the restaurant manager : “I tried to call you, “ he said. (the phone wasn’t working it appears?). He wanted me to know they had run out of what I’d ordered but he’d be happy to bring me something else for the same price. And then 15-minutes later he returned with my order which was freshly made and tasty. Give this guy a medal for good food and superlative service!“

“This place was great! After an experience next door we crashed here and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted and reviewed the menu. Ordered the eggplant parmesan, meatballs, pizza and wine. We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. WOW, the dessert was simply beautiful and perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was fresh and amazing. All the employees there were wonderful welcoming and kind. Such a great place! “This is a great place. I wonder how I missed it since the last 3 years. Great drinks and a great atmosphere. They allow outside food and our dogs also. Great vibe yet very peaceful. There is a lot of variety of alcoholic drinks, they are very fresh. Unfortunately for me only one non-alcoholic drink is available - root beer. But I loved this drink. A lot of games are available. “It was Friend Day Out and Mobay Spice was the restaurant of choice. I’m so glad it’s in the Toco Hills Plaza as there is ample parking… Upon walking in, the space is very quaint. There is a nice vibe to the overall ambiance and the overall feel is very inviting and pleasant. After taking in the ambiance we headed to the table for 4 as it is a seat yourself type of setup. Though the space isn’t wide, they did a great job with positioning the table and chairs to ensure you don’t feel crowded. Our waitress greeted us with a warm welcome and menus as soon as we sat down. As I am a lover of Jamaican Food, I was super excited at all the classic offerings and intrigued by such offerings as the Jerk Burger… say whaaaaaaaat! As the waitress arrived back a few moments later, perfect timing I might add I was ready to order. I ordered a Beef Patty as my appetizer and the Jerk Salmon Entree. I swapped out the potatoes that come with the entree for the rice and peas. As we were waiting for our food, the music kept us upbeat and made for such a dope space of engagement. All of the staff who encountered us smiled and spoke which was such a great service experience. Kudos to the team. Once the food came it was an immediate OhMyGosh Moment! The plating was beautiful and the food looked Bombbbbbbb. Beef Patty - classic patty. The meat was well seasoned. The crust was flaky and buttery. The quality of the meat was spot on and there wasn’t any fat or gristle. Very good dish and perfect pick for an appetizer. Jerk Salmon - Two Words… More Please!!!!! The salmon was meaty and moist. It was perfectly grilled without being dry or overdone. The Jerk sauce wasn’t overpowering and allowed for the fish to still be the draw while holding its own. The flavor profile of the seasoning used on the fish paired well with the flavor excitement of the jerk sauce. Furthermore, the jerk sauce wasn’t too spicy as it allowed for you to truly enjoy and savor the flavors presented. Rice and Peas - One Word… FRESH!!!! I mean a different level of freshness. The rice tasted like freshly cooked rice. The peas were authentic and perfectly done. The combination of them as one was moutpleasingly outstanding. Again, neither outshined the other. Each of them held their own and they were married together so well. Great flavor and again, amazing freshness. Steamed Cabbage - Ooh Chile! This cabbage was different. I think it’s the way it was shredded or something because babeeeeeeeeee. This was some of the best cabbage I have had in my whole life. Fresh. Seasoned. Not too hard. Not too soft. And the peppers just put what was already great even greater. I literally had to stop my waitress and tell her to tell the waiter he showed awffffffff with this. LoL!!!! As you can tell, my Mombay Spice experience was amazing. Not only will I be back, I already know what I’m going to order. 😂😂😂😂😂“

“I am late to this review though I was able to visit before the Grand opening and glad I did! After a visit to Crazy Love Coffee nearby, I thought I'd drop by here and made it just before close.

The area is in a nice spot not far from Historic Roswell which makes it easy to get in and out. Once I entered, I noticed everyone talking and being friendly with each other - stark contract from taphouses, breweries or even coffee spots that have people everywhere yet no one is interacting. You can easily tell that the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

When it came to the wine and beer selection, there's something for everyone. I was happy to try the Octoberfest / Marzen along with an amazing sour I wish I remembered the name of.

The staff was welcoming, people were friendly, drinks were good. Can't ask for more. Definitely the place to go for a weekday or weekend drink to relax when in the area.“

“After all my years in Atlanta I finally had the chance to experience Park Tavern. After a day in the park, I told my friends I wanted wings. They advised that the wings at Park Tavern were good and we should go. Of course I am always game for trying new places, thus we walk across the grass and into the Tavern. Immediately upon walking in I am in awe of the amount of space, this establishment does not look this big from the outside. However, it is hugeeeeeeeeeee!!! As the weather was beautiful and the atmosphere on the covered patio was vibrant, we decided to sit in that area. Park Tavern has a almost “Self-Serve” kind of setup and I love it. You go to the bar to place your order. Upon placing your order they take your cell number as they may text you when your food is ready to be picked up. Once you receive the text which states “This is Park Tavern! Your food is ready!” you head to the second bar and pick up your order, grab your utensils and condiments and head back to your seat. This flow works so well and is to the benefit of myself as a customer as well as the establishment as a whole. With the staff shortages that are plaguing the Atlanta area, this model is aligned to work to the benefit of all! (In my personal opinion!) I decided to get the 10 piece wings “Hot” with a side of Tater Tots. Once my food was ready, I immediately went to pick it up. I emphasize the word “immediately” as though there was no delay in my time from advisory of food readiness to pick up, my tater tot’s were already cool. I won’t say cold, however, they were cooler than room temperature but two steps above cold. However, for a non fresh hot tater tot they were still good. I can only imagine how good they would be had they been fresh out the grease. My wings were amazing. Super meaty, well done, and well seasoned. The “Hot” isn’t super hot but has a perfect spicy kick to it that enhances the flavor profile of the wing and seasonings. The wings weren’t too greasy and truly are worth a trip back for another order. LoL!! Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Park Tavern. The bar staff was friendly and all smiles, and the ambiance of the Tavern was very chill and laid back. Perfect spot for a good meal with friends or a laid back date.“
