I don’t even eat pie like that, nor do I go looking for pie anywhere, but I can count on two hands how many times I’ve had pie from here in the past month. If I had a grandmother that made the best pie on Earth, I’d forgo her’s to get some from here

My husband and I came here on a whim and WOW! they had a gluten free option for me, a very welcome surprise. Not only were the pies delicious, but the owner Kimmie and her one employee were so incredible kind and attentive. We felt so well taken care of and welcomed. We will be back any time we are in the area and would 10/10 recommend!

We were in town for my wife’s doctor appointment and wanted a sweet treat before leaving Sandy Springs to head south. I looked up spots nearby and found the name “Buttermilk Sky Pie” very interesting and thought to check them out. With no expectations we walked in to be greeted by the jovial owner, Kimmee, who welcomed us immediately with a friendly shout from the back, as she hurried to leave the kitchen and assist us at the counter. She told us all about the different options and upon hearing me mention my wife was gluten-free and would not be eating, told us she had several flavors available for her! We also got to chat a bit about family, her origins in Korea and then the US, and immediately knew we would be back again next month. Her kind and warm spirit alone, made us want to support this local business-owner! And once we arrived home to try the pies we were blown away. Hands-down, one of THE BEST pecan pies I have ever eaten in my life. And my wife’s gluten-free key lime, was so good she forgot it wasn’t a regular pie. Kimmee’s staff was also super professional and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibes and experience. 10/10 recommend enjoying some pie on a random evening when you’re in the area!!

I recently visited Buttermilk Sky Pie, and it was a delightful experience! I purchased their 4-inch pies, which are a great option if you're looking for something smaller than their regular-sized pies. I tried Granny's Apple, Key Lime, and the Spiced Apple Butter flavors, and I must say, each one was packed with flavor. The shop offers even more flavors to explore, and they kindly provide pie samples so you can find your favorite before committing. The customer service was fantastic - friendly and attentive staff made the experience even better. One thing to note is that the pies are very sweet. While delicious, I personally couldn't finish an entire 4-inch pie in one sitting. They're definitely worth sharing with a friend or saving for later. Overall, Buttermilk Sky Pie is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to trying their other flavors!

Be safe and enjoy!

Took the kids to Activate, a gaming place across the street, so we stopped by and got a bunch of 4" pies. A touch pricey, but oh so good! Will definitely return anytime we are in the area.

This place is a dream and a curse for pre-diabetics like myself.

The key lime pie has the perfect custard because of its texture and fresh taste. I prefer lattice apple pies, but this place has me sold with the brown sugar crumble. The pecan pie 🥧 😋 filling was perfect. Overall, they secure a lovely balance of salt and sweet in all of their pies, so the fillings and crust marry well.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options, fyi.

I visited Butter Milk Sky a few years ago and remembered how incredible the pie was, so I decided to bring some friends along during a road trip back home to Florida. Once again, it did not disappoint!

The service was friendly and amazing, and we picked up a variety of mini pies: Buttermilk, Apple, Pecan, Key Lime, and I-40. Every single one was absolutely delicious. This place has become a must-stop for me, and I’ll continue to return time and time again. Highly recommend!

After walking into the shop with the sign still turned as “closed” during normal business hours, I walk in to buy a pie. I spend $39.87 on a pie. The girl behind the counter checked to see if I tipped her, but apparently not the total she typed in. Hours later, while I’m on my way to my Thanksgiving celebration, I get a call from “Kimmie’s Bakery” (they are lucky I even answered,) to let me know they had only charged me $0.86 for the pie and needed the money. She demanded I come back in to pay for the pie. I then asked her if I could give her a card number over the phone. I told them I would need to call them back because I was busy, but would call back later. She reminded me to call back later in a condescending tone. I reminded her that it wasn’t my fault she screwed up, but assured her I would call her back when I had my credit card in front of me. I called back, they ran my card for $1 more than what they were supposed to because they had actually charged me $1.86 for the pie. After all of this, the owner gets on the phone holding my $1 hostage, I told her I could come back in for the $1, but she said “no, and there was nothing she could do.” She said she trained all of these “young girls this week.”- THIS IS THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING to run her shop. Congratulations, you just lost someone who was willing to pay $40 for a pie over $1.

Oh and the pie was not done in the middle.
