Amazing food and service! I ordered the breakfast sandwich, bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel.

I should have trusted my gut feeling and left right away. The breakfast burrito and the bagels I ordered were both disappointing.

If you've been following for a bit, then you know I LOVE a good bagel. For breakfast, is there anything better than a good PASTRAMI bagel!? No, there isn't 😂 City Bagel & Cafe always delivers on an amazing breakfast 😋

Don’t listen to the naysayers… This is an authentic bagel place. Homemade bagels every morning and they make their own cream cheese. We got the egg and sesame bagel with bacon, and the lox bagel. Their garden veggie spread is unbelievable. We just found our new bagel place!

Good low-key breakfast spot. So nice to get fresh bagels and coffee from a locally-owned small business rather than yet another corporate clone!

Wonderful and welcoming

The bagels didn’t taste fresh and the service was very slow. I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of good bagel places in Atlanta. I will never go there again.

Brought my toddler here, he loves bagels so figured we’d try a new place in the neighborhood. The inside is kind of outdated, but what you’d expect from an old diner. If you care about the vibe, this place isn’t for you, just feels like a run down deli. Anyways, got a plan bagel and cream cheese for my son. Sat outside. Opened the bagel to cut it into toddler sized pieces and found a huge hair in it. Normally I’d take this to be a mistake and would just get a new one - figured somebody serving wasn’t wearing a hairnet. But my toddler saw it and had a terrible reaction, he got very upset and wouldn’t eat anything. He basically had a tantrum until we left. So, I didn’t actually get to try the bagel and just left immediately without trying to get my money back. It’s a shame, but it’s not exactly what you want to see on your first visit. Won’t give them another chance.

I should’ve read the reviews before I made a pick up order. The bagel is HARD AS A ROCK - not toasted, HARD. I decided to take it apart and eat it. The eggs… EXTREMELY salty. I literally heard the crunch of the salt grains. I saw it too. A lot. Then the salmon…. It was majority gray…. Trashed the whole thing. I’m heading to Einstein bagels to redeem myself

Amazing service, it’s so sad the racist comments on this page who try to bring a business owner down based on his background. Will make up lies to try to make a business look bad . Keep going and doing your best! Amazing bagels and service ✅

I walked in with intentions of getting a bagel but instead left with just a coffee. The place felt ran down. The food out didn't look appealing. It wasn't very clean inside & felt old. Coffee spills on the floor and tables. Signs taped to the tables that say clean after yourself. The coffee was decent, though, for a drip coffee. The men's bathroom was out of paper towels and toilet paper. The employees were nice but seemed miserable. Overall I would suggest a different place to go in this area.

As a New Yorker who knows what a good bagel should taste like, I was extremely disappointed with City Bagel. The bagels here were not fresh and were hard as a rock. It’s clear they don't know the first thing about making authentic, delicious bagels. To make matters worse, the service was subpar. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Save your time and money and go a little farther north to Bagelicious if you want a real bagel experience. They know how to make a bagel right!

It doesn’t happen often, but I woke up this morning craving a warm and toasted bagel!! I’m here now, I ordered a toasted jalepeno bagel with half sundried tomato and half regular cream cheese. The woman at the counter was basically whispering, I get it, we all have quiet days but I couldn’t hear a word she was saying, and when I asked her to repeat what she asked, she got an attitude and began to walk away. The bagel came out cold and untoasted and very little cream cheese. I was so uncomfortable from even ordering, I didn’t ask to have it toasted again, so I’m currently eating a cold and chewy bagel.Overall, very underwhelmed and unimpressed with this bagel shop. Would not recommend coming back. The customer service alone was really uncomfortable and not worth the attempt to get a good bagel.
