It doesn’t happen often, but I woke up this morning craving a warm and toasted bagel!! I’m here now, I ordered a toasted jalepeno bagel with half sundried tomato and half regular cream cheese. The woman at the counter was basically whispering, I get it, we all have quiet days but I couldn’t hear a word she was saying, and when I asked her to repeat what she asked, she got an attitude and began to walk away. The bagel came out cold and untoasted and very little cream cheese. I was so uncomfortable from even ordering, I didn’t ask to have it toasted again, so I’m currently eating a cold and chewy bagel.Overall, very underwhelmed and unimpressed with this bagel shop. Would not recommend coming back. The customer service alone was really uncomfortable and not worth the attempt to get a good bagel.

Great “up north” bagel feel! Always consistent, great options. One of my top choices for bagels in the area

What kind of bagel store says they open at 6:30, but doesn’t serve food until 830? How are people supposed to get breakfast before work? It’s literally a bagel store? Makes literally no sense.

Great service and food every time we go. My favorite is a jalapeño bagel with lox spread!

I've tried City Bagel a few times. The bagels are always fresh, and the service is friendly. My 3 stars come from the cook, NEVER having anything on her head when she's making breakfast sandwiches. I think anyone who is actively cooking needs a haircut or a scarf on. I also dislike that they use cheap precooked heat and serve patty sausage. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying upwards of $7 for a bagel breakfast sandwich, I don't want cheap heat and serve patty sausage. I did try the Smoked Salmon breakfast bagel, and it was worth every penny. It was a nice portion and I was able to share with my BFF.

Ooooh My God!!! What can I say about City Bagel and Cafe. Since I tried it I cannot stop going. It is a hidden gem so delicious and fresh. I always get a sesame bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese and it is the best bagel ever. Also, their plain crossaints are amazing and big. Prices are really reasonable for their quality of food. The atmosphere is always cozy and great. Alma the cashier is so helpful and friendly. She is always happy to help. I Highly highly recommend this place.

everything thing here is delicious!! The bakery makes everything fresh to order and the food is amazing as well. I always get a different sweet treat when i’m there besides a fresh bagel. The staff is kind and patient with my order. Wish I lived closer so I could go more frequently!!!

Service - so so so very friendly! The 2 ladies at the front couldn't have been more cheerful and smiley than most at work on a weekday at 6:45 a.m. when my Dad who'd just had knee surgery requested that I run on over there for bagels and croissants! (I'm originally born/raised in SS and everytime I'm back there are more and more amazing places to eat!)Ambiance - very very sad. Bright fluorescent lighting, dingy bleighe tables and floors. Empty display cases (maybe it was too early for them to be filled?) This place needs an injection of color or style! The pitiful little table and chair on the sidewalk didn't make it seem inviting to walk into.Food - that croissant was the size of my child's head. Seriously puffy, buttery, flaky and unbelievable, and I thought Costco croissants were my favorite! The bagel was still warm in its bag when I got home and I clutched it like it was a newborn, so warm and swaddled in its bag. It didn't need toasting or anything - just sliced with a light dabble of cream cheese. My Dad shared the croissant with me with some fruit and our tummies were very happy.

Stopped in for the 1st time today...order @ the counter...nice selection of breakfast choices. Several bagel sandwiches, lunch items & pastries. We had egg sandwiches. They are large! Perfect cooked scrambled eggs, great tasting bagel too! The coffee was fresh & great tasting. Quick & friendly service. Many others came in right after us so we timed it right! You can eat in or take-away!

If you like waiting 40 minutes for anything with eggs and poor service this spot is great. 5-6 visits here and it’s the same every time. Recently my daughter was brought the wrong salmon bagel and she took a bite. Was later brought the correct dish and the woman demanded that we pay for it after I walked to the counter to let her know they brought the wrong dish by accident.

Staff could be friendlier. Food wasn’t up to the standard I know them for.

I tried to call but no answer to see if I could place a Togo order for pickup for a small order. No answer so I took my chance and drove. I walked in to order something and she said kitchen closed. I told her I tried calling and she said only 2 people working can't answer phone. There was no customers inside so clearly she could have answered the phone to say kitchen closed. Hispanic lady at front counter is rude.
