Ate at El Capitan tonight for the first time and we will be back! We needed a table that would accommodate our stroller and the manager immediately moved a table over for us...not all restaurants are accommodating of strollers, but they didn't miss a beat! Sarah was our server and she was fabulous...explained the menu to us, extremely attentive and had a great personality. The food was WONDERFUL!! Can't wait to go back and try a bunch of other things...this place is going to do very well in Sandy Springs. So glad to see this wonderful restaurant in our neighborhood!

I made a reservation based on a recent write up and was very disappointed. I tried calling to confirm out reservation to the phone number Google brought up that was not the correct phone number for the restaurant. The other number listed on their website was not in service and I was asked to send a text message via the website. When I sent the text message I never got a response. I mentioned this upon arrival at the restaurant and was happy to show the numbers that were listed but the hostess did not seem to care . The hostess was also our waitress and bartender. We requested water to be brought to the table 4 times before it arrived it took over 30 minutes for appetizers and drinks to arrive. I made my entrée choice based upon the recommendation of our waitress and inquired about the market price before ordering. When the bill arrived, there was a $10 price difference . After speaking with a manager, who also brought the food to our table, he agreed to honor the price originally quoted. We love trying new restaurant and supporting local establishments, but the food was average, the service was extremely slow, and the drinks missed the mark. We won’t be back

Meh, weak Ritas, and a 25$ 8 oz burned steak instead of medium rare. Glad I had a group on. The decor is top notch however.

Interesting and unique menu. Had the Lagastinos and they were very tasty. It was a bit dead on a Wednesday night at 6 - 7 pm but looks like it could be fun once things got rocking. Shrimp soup was also great.

Delicious food!! Only small issue: Although the dish was very tasty, don’t ever charge $60 market price with something that has imitation crab meat in it. Just sayin.. I had fried octopus bites and the Langosta Rellena, stuffed lobster. Texas margarita was pretty good too! Bites are now a favorite ?

Really Really Great service. Extremely nice. Almost too nice. Really love that. Menu could be a bit more elaborate but they let u switch out for what u want. I got fish in place of a dish that had squid all because of the nice server Brenda I think her name was! Thank u all.

It was just ok. The server we had was very friendly. The decor - could easily mistake it as a Captain D knockoff. Atmosphere - WAY, WAY too loud! We could barely hear each other or the server. And she had to ask us to repeat ourselves many times. The music definitely needs to come down several notches and the cackling bartender could also take it down a notch or two.

And she had to ask us to repeat ourselves many times. The music definitely needs to come down several notches and the cackling bartender could also take it down a notch or two.The food:Their complimentary broth and bread was a nice change from the usual Mexican restaurant offering of chips and salsa. The calamari was ok. Pretty small portion for the price. The squid itself was cooked well and was tasty. The dipping sauce with it was not so tasty - somewhat like a watery, spicy guacamole. My entree of paella was…meh. It was mostly somewhat greasy, bland rice. The shrimp was overcooked and inconsistent with some shrimp cleaned and peeled well and some not. The octopus - supposedly their specialty - was cooked well but was diced so small that it was essentially undetectable in the dish. It basically ended up being a plate of yellow rice with very little flavor. Apparently the bucket of hot sauces on the table are necessary to compensate for a chef afraid of flavor. A little food styling would have been nice too. My partner had fajitas. His overall comment was - well they were fine but it’s tough to mess up fajitas. Though they did bring corn tortillas when he requested flour (the server brought flour after he pointed it out).Overall the portions sizes are good, the staff is friendly but the food is forgettable and overpriced and there is no attention to detail.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and for dessert the churros with cinnamon hibiscus tea were a perfect crescendo. I will definitely be back.
