Terrible, they were cleaning with pinesol, made everything I bought taste like it.. Usually going in a bakery it smells sweet like the desserts served and they taste good lets me know either nothing is fresh or they use pinesol all day in large quantities.. tip: bread/cakes absorb thats why they are in cases..

Still one of Atlanta's classic bakeries. 100% fresh and 100% delicious as it has been for nearly 100 years. Top-shelf pastries and cookies along with made-fresh daily sandwiches make for a great place for a lunch break or to pickup dessert for home, office or party. Just note the Sandy Springs location is more spartan and utilitarian than the flagship in Buckhead (which feels much more up-market) though you can eat inside and the parking is ample but tight as a tin can.

I love to eat here, It looks like you are in the old times when we can sit in a pastry store to have a coffee with our d'oeuvres. Simple old life. The food is delicious and the girls are awesome.
If you want a good pastry, this is the place to go. The pastries are always fresh. My favorite is the cinnamon roll. They put raisins in them, but I don't mind because they are that good. I pick those out. The staff is always nice and friendly. My favorite location is in Buckhead because they have more variety of options. If you like pesto pasta, you have to try it. You can't go wrong here.
